Breast enlargement under local with sedation??!!
Hi. I am thinking about having my BA under local with sedation (twilight) with Mr Marando as i have a fear of going under GA. Has anyone had this? I have seen that some people say it would be uncomfortable this way but then i have heard of people having it done and even watched videos and they say it was pain free!! I am confused :s and although its not very popular in the uk, its very common in us! Help! x

Search in the search engine as there have been a few thread on it and they are very helpful.....
from what I hear it's a good alternative if you can get it in a licensed OR with proper anethasists (SPELLING LOL!) but check out the threads too!!! xxxx

hi hun, if this was an option i would definately go for it!! Will be cheaper too i would think.... although i'm not squeamish at all. You won't feel anything, just a bit of tugging, the sedation will make u feel pi*sed so you won't really know what's going on anyway!!! xxx

Hi,
I think this a great option- especially as that is all that I am scared of is going under the GA however I am extremely squeamish with blood (even my own) and although the sedation is strong (I had it for my wisdom teeth removal) I panic at the thought of suddenly freaking out during the op and kicking and screaming!!! Probably a ridiculous thought!!!
But if you are not squeamish, then it's definetely a great option due to your fear of GA.
Good luck xxx

...twilight sedation apparently you are in a light sleep...you're not awake for it and the local anaesthetic you get is so you don't feel any pain while your asleep...sounds good to me!!! cheaper too!!xxx
