Re: New Avatar, dressings off and a picturetrail....
I bruise quite easily and when I asked my surgeon and the nurse about arnica, they said they are yet to be proven as they don't have a Government Protection License? Anyway I asked a pharmacist if he would advise them and he also said the same thing so I decided not to take them.
Looking at your pics I wish I hadn't listened, it's too late to get them now though, I don't have time to go into town and my chemist don't stock them so won't get them in on time either Oh well, I'll just have to have ice packs at the ready! Lol.
Happy healing xx

Re: New Avatar, dressings off and a picturetrail....
I've been making myself ill with worrying the last 2 or 3 days and extra pressures from work haven't been helping either. Putting that aside, knowing that whether my work is done or not tomorrow, I'm clocking out at 12pm and it's official, my time off is booked, it's happening and I can give myself a slap to make myself realise!! Lol. I think i'll be a bit more excited about it tomorrow/Saturday xx

Re: New Avatar, dressings off and a picturetrail....
Surely they wouldnt be able to sell them if they hadnt been checked, ive been taken them over the last few days on the advise of my surgeon, they are on herbal so i dont think there anything in them that is harmful, but there are surgeons out there that dont say to use them. They are all so different arent they lol

Re: New Avatar, dressings off and a picturetrail....
They didn't say that Arnica was harmful, they said they are a herbal tablet and basically that they haven't been reviewed by a medical laboratory. The company on the box are the people that produce and test them, not drug companies. He also said he has no problem in me taking them (as they are a herbal remedy - unharmful), however, they are yet to be proven? Herbal remedies only have to meet certain criteria to hit the shelves
