Aagh, no! Don't do sunbeds!! They're so last decade! Spray tan if you must. Personally, I use those gradual self tan body moisturisers. They don't smell like they used to. Palmers Cocoa Butter is a good one.

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
Looking fab hun...I use the good old fashioned way to tan, gradually in the sun. Probably not the safest way, but I'm taking care to put spf lotion on and keeping my face out of it. I've gone two shades darker already. I think spraytan might be quicker and safer tho, but I'm scared I'll go orange

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
Thanks girls, I do use the body moisturisers with self tan but at the moment i'm only using a bit on my legs and arms cos im scared of getting it in my incisions and was told not to use anything oily/greasy near my boobies and they are the whitest bit! I'll just wait until nearer xmas for a spray tan i think as i am a bit worried about sunbeds and my ageing skin now haha not to mention other risks of uv rays:(!
stircrazy- I love the real sun but unfortunately over here sunbathing's not an option right now(its freezing!!)lol xxx

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
Looking HOOOOT! Love the corset!!
P.S. DON"T go tanning at all.... read this from my PS website:
Do not tan your scars for the first nine months following surgery, because they are more sensitive to the sun during this period and may tan darker than the surrounding skin. This darkness, if allowed to occur, may be permanent. In general it is safe to begin using sunscreen on your incisions three weeks after surgery. Even if you are wearing a bathing suit, you should still cover your incisions with sunscreen during this early period of nine to twelve months. Tanning beds can be particularly injurious to your incisions, and this activity should be avoided completely during the first three months after surgery.

Swit swooooo look at those babies. You look fab Hun! 19days PO! Sod the sunbeds babe I gave them up last year, I do miss them though and I'm dreading when it comes to summer as I know I will really want to go on! I like fake tan but st troPez brings me out in a major rash, so when I'm all healed going to try out fake bake. Loving your new av babe you really do look good, you must feel so haPpy :) xxxxx

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
oh hun you look gorgeous, lovely big jubbly's stay away from sunbeds hun, my skin started looking OLD!! and very quickly. Haven't been on one for 2 years now and use fake tan..... my skin is so much nicer since i stopped. The cheapest option is to use build up moisturisers, the garnier summer body one is good and sooooo easy to use. Costs about £3 too!!! Fake bake is great too, but more costly. I think you lovely as you are though, tanned skin isn't the craze anymore xxxx

Do u reckon im safe to put it on my boobies yet as they not only look bright white but are looking slightly scaly too (lizard like!!!) xxx Think they are crying out for some moisture xx

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
Annaliese - you lookin VERY sexy ! Love your basque - phew - gawd could you imagine the looks youd get if you went back to the supermarket (was it?) the other day where you were 'checked out' ? they'd all drop to their knees!
Also ahem - cough - ok so Im the only BAD one on here - with my old farty skin and old farty ways
I loooove my sunbed - its a treat to myself - just love that toasty feeling. I did hours and i mean HOURS and DAYS of re-search about sunbeds and their effect on your skin and I found that in moderation its ok. I bought the best I could buy and feel secure that a little treat now and again int goin to kill me. Theres worse things I could be doing - I dont smoke, I dont drink (sorry that is a LIE but it looks good), I dont drink - much, I dont eat meat, I exercise regularly, take my vitamins and moisturise like chuff - should slide about not walk with the amount I use. So thinking Im not so very very bad - please dont all jump on me about this cos it would make me blub as I said there are worse things i could do and ive done the research.
Again Annaliese - looking hot ... someone commented on one of my pics a couple of weeks ago and said 'nice rack' it was one of the BEST compliments I EVER EVER had .... so - Annaliese ... niiiiiceeeeee raaaaaack!

I cant wait to wear something like that.....my husband would think all his birthdays had come at once!!!I used sunbeds for years, but havent been on one for about 3 years now as im alot clostrophobic, and the last time had a panic attack when i was in one so never again!! I love to sit in the sun though and have skin that goes brown very easy so i just stick with that now !xxx

Re: New avatar , need a tan tho!!
annaliese you look AMAZING!!! Loves it!! My boobies were a bit dry as well, along with the dreaded spots, I've been using a mild toner and then a gentle spot control moisturiser on them and it's improved the skin condition alot. I just put it on the top - the bits I can see when they're in the sports bra - so nowhere near the incisions. LOVE your basque btw, stunning!
Kat4, don't feel bad about the sunbeds, in moderation I don't think they're harmful at all. I am ginger and very pale (as you can see from my avi) and a few years ago I had quite bad psoriasis on my chest and tummy, I was recommended to go on sunbeds - only like 10 mins 3 times a week - to improve it and it worked. My dad has had bad psoriasis for years and the one time it is guaranteed to go away completely is when he goes in the sun - we even used to have a sunbed at home when I was little for him!! Anyway - everything in moderation, a bit of sun is good for us, we just have to make sure we're protecting our skin as well, in my case I'm now paranoid about ageing so it's factor 30 on the face daily!!! xx
