Hi Doony.. sorry i cant really seem to help... i've got the crease incision and still have the dressings on lol (want them on as long as possible) ha! So i havent been able to see the scar at all.

But the thing is, EVERYONE heals differently! Crease incisions are bigger then the nipple incision but then you wont be able to see it unless you tried to see it... and the nipple incision apparently heals very easily and is hardly seen at all.

Talk to your PS and decide together on this.. Im sure more ladies will be able to help you further though.

I have a crease incision and its really very nea and you can only see it if you look from underneath. Once my boobies drop a bit it will probably not be visable at all unless u really look for it!. I will take some pics tomorrow and ill pm u my picturetrail details. There are girls on here with nipple incisions too which once healed i think u dont see at all and i'm sure some of them will let u see pics too so u can make up ur mind xxx One reason i'm glad i went for crease is that i have found my nipples quite sore since the op and have the sunburn feeling so wonder if the pain would have been worse if the incision was there! Everybody's different tho xxx

Hey doony, I had areola incisions and they are really really thin. Slightly darker pink at the moment than the rest of the area but I am only 5 weeks post op.

Getting lighter everyday

Its coming back slowly, they react to touch now but straight from surgery they wouldnt do anything for a couple of weeks.

I guess time will tell if I get it all back but due to having to have corrective surgery I had to have areola incisions x
