OMG - first post-op bra fitting!!!
Although I am only 3 weeks post-op, my lovely nurse said I could wear any bra and ditch the chest strap - but only for a few hours for the odd party occasion... off to London on Saturday to theatre, dinner, hotel for my best mate's 40th so this was good news!
So I popped into John Lewis and tried on a few bras that I thought would be about right 34C (and thought I would try my luck with a 34D!) - refused any help as I am shy about these things! I tried a few on and only one sort of fit ok, but as i was leaving the lovely assistant questioned me about my choice... "you definitely dont look a 34, you must be a 32" she was (thankfully) a little pushy (in a v nice way) and almost insisted on checking the fit.... so I agreed, she checked me and said I was def a 32, she took one look at me in this 34C and said you look more like a DD or even E!!!! OMG I thought! I cant be! But sure enough off she made me try on a 32DD and it fit perfectly! She also said I would probably end up an E as I have still to drop etc! I just couldnt believe it - I'm sure they dont look that big! I only had 310cc, and started out (what I know realise) was a 32A (and not a 34AA!)
So, for the first time in over 20 years of adulthood, I came out of a lingerie shop with a MASSIVE smile on my face
Sorry for the ramble I just had to share!

That sure brought a smile on my face. Thank god the assistant was a bit pushy. Will make sure I get measured properly now as I usually do it all myself too. Great news. XXX

Thats fab hun!! I'm like you been wearing 34a for years but was really a 32b, I'm only 30 and a half inches under boobs. Had to get a 34d sports bra since the op as no one seems to do a 32 for some reason so hoping when I go to get measured today might be a DD!
Hope you have a lovely time in London showing off your boobs! xx
