When do you see your PS post op?
I went to the clinic today for my one week check up with the nurse and before i left she arranged my 3 week check up to remove the steri strips. I was under the impression that this appointment would be with the surgeon but I am sure the nurse said it would be with her again?
I was just wondering how many further appointments there are after this and at what point do I get to tell my surgeon what a fab job he has done?!!! Lol

I see my surgeon 12 weeks no fair anneliese I have to wait 6 more weeks to tell him how awesome he is! He's also the one that gives me the underwire thumbs up :) so guess its different with different nurses maybe! Xx

I saw the nurse at one week, my PS at 3 weeks and he told me I don't need to go back for 6 months unless I have any concerns...

Ah thanks ladies, I guess it's different depending on where you go & who your PS is! I really should have asked! Got kinda dissappointed when my appointment slip said 'nurse' at three weeks! Lol xxx

Re: When do you see your PS post op?
That's what I was told hun. I think I'm going to check - don't want to get there to be told I have to come back. I'm wondering if they have made a mistake with my 3 week appointment now? I remember Mr Hassan saying at the consultation that he removes them himself. However, I have noticed he is a very busy man these days - I couldn't see him again to go through sizes Pre-op, didn't see him at all after the Op (the folllowing morning another surgeon signed me off), so I'm not sure! Will let you know xxx

I am 2 days post op. I am to see the nurse in 2 weeks and then my PS in 12 weeks. I suppose each PS is different.

Re: When do you see your PS post op?
Depends on the location I guess, I've seen my surgeon (for about 3 minutes LOL) at every follow-up...he'll just have a peek at them and ask me how they're feeling, etc. But I got it done at a private PS centre which he is the only doctor at so he's there every day!
Good luck with your follow-up!!
