1 week post op and intimacy???
Hey there BB's!
So it's only been a week but I seem to have recovered really quickly and with relative ease. Ive had no bruising, swelling or pain despite having unders. Ive been driving today and i will go back to work tomorrow. It just aches a bit from the chest strap. I'm sure I read somewhere that one is supposed to refrain from 'intimate' activities for 6 weeks post. But I'm sure my surgeon never mentioned this, nor can I find it in the info i was given... Can anyone shed any more light on this?! I'm already feeling the glorious confidence 'boost' from my new additions but hubbie (bless him) is worried it might do harm!

Re: 1 week post op and intimacy???
as long as you avoid massaging and squeezing them and try not to jig them about too much it should be fine. remember they still need to stick inside the pocket as theyre still mobile at one week post.

Re: 1 week post op and intimacy???
As I said in the thread Peggysue posted, my man was back on board by day 2 (hard to stop him, to be honest...) and as long as I pretty much just lay there and made sure he kept his hands of the merchandise, it was fine.
But I never got told not to....

Re: 1 week post op and intimacy???
This thread makes me think of that old joke:
Patient: "Doctor. Will I be able to play the piano after the op on my arm?"
Doctor: "Of course!"
Patient: "That's great, because I can't play it now".
Wondering about how soon one can "become intimate" after BA is a bit fruitless, if you haven't anyone to become intimate with. Still, maybe Cagney and Lacey will improve my chances! Watch out boys - we three girls are coming to get you.....

Re: 1 week post op and intimacy???
I was told it wasnt a problem so long as the fondling was gentle.
I had thought I might feel less than sexy straight after but apparently DF said as soon as I was wheeled back from the op I was offering him a look and a feel ... i was just so flickin happy!
Erm, the room I had was very nice - we have four kids - gotta take your chances when you can
