Bottoming out question! Empty Bottoming out question!

Out of curiousity, is it possible to cause bottoming out by wearing compression strap too tight? I'm 3 days po and my right is really low compared to my left, of course it's early days but do you think i could be pushing them down too far?
Thankyou please x

Sorry hun, but I can't help. I didn't have to wear the strap, so maybe ask your PS. Its normal for one implant to be lower than the other one, most girls complain about this in the beginning. Your PS should be able to show you how tight the strap should be.

Good luck hun and happy healing

..I agree. I have heard from a lot of girls on hear that their boobs dropped at different speeds and looked a bit wonky ... but they did catch up in the end. Best talk to your ps though as they will know whether they had to shape one pocket bigger or differently inside and would beable to let you know if there is a good explaination for it. Your still early on though, I say "no stress", they'll look great soon enough I bet! dance

Hi Hun, my right has dropped loads more than my left too! Infact my right looks & feels perfect right now - dropped, less swollen, softer! Whereas my left is high up, swollen, has more side boob and looks bigger at the mo! Are you right handed? I wonder if its because we use our right hand to do more and so the muscles relax quicker?

It had me worried yesterday, but then I remembered reading posts that they heal at different rates. Just feels a bit wierd at the mo!

Don't worry sweet, I think it's perfectly normal & I don't think the strap can cause any problems (other than it's driving me nuts already! Lol) xxx

Thanks girlies!

Jojo! Yes! My right is like my dream boob! That's why I was frightened to push it down anymore as I'm happy how it is lol. The band is awful I really need it off!! It's bringing out the worst in me!! How are you feeling? Actually how long are we meant to wear it for?? And yes in right handed too so yeah that makes sense :)

Thankyou sweetpeas x

I think we have to wear the band for up to 6 weeks, or if when you see the surgeon at your first appointment and he says you can take it off because they have dropped enough. It is so itchy & restrictive!

I am feeling great thx hun, am tender but ok if I take everything slow! Hope you are doing ok sweet. It'll be interesting to follow each other's progress as we recover! xxx

I never wore a band but my right one was higher and fuller for a few days longer as I'm left handed. They're both the same height now though although lefty is a little bit bigger but was before my op. No-one would notice but me though. I'm assuming as lefty is bigger now my swelling has all gone down anyway and this is the size they will be from now. Hopefully! Bottoming out question! 184153 xx
