6 days post op - they look like two grapefruits!!!
Hi,
I'm 6 days post op, I was 34C before and had 405cc high profile overs. I'm 5'9" and 10.5 stone. Although I'm quite fit and strong I have found it quite painful, my boobs are so tender, sore and swollen and the stitches are really sore under the plasters and itchy. The stitches feel really lumpy on one side too.
If anyone has any post op photos please PM me a link. I am really not very keen on the way my boobs look at the moment, they look like two stuck-on grapefruits. I was aiming for a 34DD but at the moment they are really big and I'm worried if they don't shrink down a bit they will make me look fat. Husband can't wait to get his hands on them but I am quite disappointed.
When do they stop feeling quite so tender?
Laura xx

Congrats on your new Blue eyes!
I'm still pre op so can't say from experience! but at my last consulation he did use the word 'grapefruit' to describe how they may look afterwards and tell me not to worry its only temporary!

hey there Laura.i had 385c overs and mine looked stuck on for at least the first few weeks-mine were more like big shiney cones!! lol It was only when they started drop into place that i felt that they were part of me instead of being stuck on!
Very early days hunnie-give them a little more healing time+time for you to adjust to them and you'll love them !!

i have had mine for a just over a week now and i totally know what you mean about shiny cones! mine look stuck on too. i was an A cup before and got 310 unders so i dont feel that they are too big but they certainly feel stuck on! I am sure that you will get used to them soon though. #my friend got 380 and when i saw her a few months later i thought they looked huge but she said she had got used to them and wished they were as big as when she first got them!

Hi! Don't worry - mine looked exactly like that for a while and I was thinking "What have I done??". Now I'm 2 months PO and they have changed loads and I'm really happy with them. PM me if you want to look at my pics.

Try not to judge them so much so early on hun, i only had 255cc and they looked stuck on to me at first. I think its totally normal cos of the swelling etc. Give them time and im sure they will be perfect. They could take weeks/months to soften and drop to what you think is a more natural appearance. Congrats on them anyway, xxx

Congrats! Dont worry I honestly dont believe any of us are fully prepared to how we will feel post op so its all quite a shock. It takes quite a few weeks for everything to settle down completely and you probably have loads of swelling to go. I went back to the clinic after a week because I was so distressed at how big mine were but they are great now . You are tall so that size will look fabulous on you just give it a little more time.
