Re: liquefying implants???!!!
I know the cui are thick gel so won't run, but the mhp are not the gummi bear type, you can cut them in half
Re: liquefying implants???!!!
I watched a you tube video where a Dr pierced a mentor cohesive implant and squeezed it really hard and the gel only came out a tiny bit, but went back in as soon as the pressure was off...I don't think there would be too much damage even if they did rupture  . Hence my total bewilderment how it happened in the frist place ...ah well. It remains a mystery to me lol!

Re: liquefying implants???!!!
I'd just like to add my two cents for what it's worth
There is the possibility that, as horrible as this incident was, it was a defective implant. If silicone usually liquefies at 5 hundred something degrees C, it's very likely that this is an isolated defective product case.
These cases are terrible, but aren't likely to happen and shouldn't be part of the statistics, as Nikita said, not worth worrying about.
It's the same as a car who's gas pedal gets stuck. You wouldn't say "I'm not ever going to buy or drive any car again" - at the most you maybe wouldn't buy that model car, of that year.
Relax girls - we'll be fine
