really unhappy with my breast
hi ladies i am really unhappy about my breasts i have been trying to be patient but just dont think they are improving my problem is cleavage or lack of it. has anybody on here had my type of implants or started off with a wide gap? When i asked again at my 7 week post op appointment with ps he just said i had a wide gap before and would never have a good cleavage this was never mentioned before my op and infact i used to get a cleavage with a bra before. im seriously thinking that i would like to make a complaint but dont know how to go about this. I would appreciate it if you ladies could have a look at my photos and give your honest opinions on whether or not
a) i will get a cleavge with a bra when i try to push them in they wont move enough
b) do you think the surgeon could have placed the implants to far out rather than central
c) has anybody else had the same look and can you achieve a cleavage
thanks ladies im really upset i brought a back less halter neck top today and it looked awlful because of the gap i could have cried i feel like ive wasted my money this isnt how i wanted to look. pm me if you would like my password x

Re: really unhappy with my breast
Hey shirtripper
While it's possible that your PS placed them too far, I think the more likely reason is that they haven't softened up yet. I've read about girls on here who took 6 months or more to get totally soft nice cleavage. If you could get a cleavage before, you'll definitely get one after the BA, but it's just too soon and they haven't fluffed yet.
Patience sweetie!!
And I think your avatar looks lovely by the way!

Re: really unhappy with my breast
I had a large gap before and still have a large gap after. When they had softened enough I was able to get cleavage, although it took until 6 months post op and to get really good cleavage I have to wear a size or two smaller than I am. I would see how they are when they are completely soft
Re: really unhappy with my breast
the gap should be the same pre and post sugery and that is determined by the curvature of your chest wall, but with quite a big implant like you have had and with softening you should def be able to get cleavage with a bra....... your only a month away from your BA its still too soon x could i have a look at your pics please?

Re: really unhappy with my breast
I had mine done yesterday and have about a finger or 2 width gap at the moment, I asked about this as from the front my boobs don't even look that big and are quite far apart but he did say as the swelling goes down and they soften they will move a bit more, I'd probably agree with the other girls comments that they wil get softer, and u can see from there avatars that cleavage is completely possible !!
hope mine do same!!

Re: really unhappy with my breast
hi hun, iv had a look and i think they look WAY better than before, they are a lovely size, i do see the gap ur talkin about but i think in time it will get better as they soften. i think breast implants can sometimes exaggerate r flaws, dont worry, am sure it will improve but i think they look fab already!

Re: really unhappy with my breast
Ahh shirtripper - funny thing is yours was one of the avatars I liked the best, thought thats just how Id like to look when things had softenend for me. The gap was something I went on about to my surgeon - told him one of my major worries was I didnt want to end up with a big gap. I brought it up again two mins before surgery and even asked him about it when he came to see me in the morning. He assured me that when things soften and my chest muscle settles more then the look will improve (i had partial unders like you). Is it ok if I see your picture trail please? Im keeping a daily diary of pics too but as yet I havent found out how to use picture trail thingumy.

Re: really unhappy with my breast
Hi Shirtripper. Your avatar looks fab just like I imagine (hope) mine will look like as I also have really far apart boobs. I've been so worried about cleavage issue but if they look like yours I'll be over the moon, especially if they 'fluff' and soften like the girls have said. Please could I have a look. Thx, Lx

Hello shirtripper. Hope you ok today. I didnt get a PM hon. Not sure if I can tho - I saw on another thread last week that I have to have been a member for longer/have commented more - is this right do you know? Would have thought with the amount of rambling I have been doing it would be ok by now

Re: really unhappy with my breast
still feel the same really cant see them changing tho i had the gummi type implants too so they never gonna be really soft, after thinking more about my appointments with ps and asking about cleavage i feel quite angry he was quite abrupt and made me feel like i was making a big deal out of it ive paid him alot of money to get my ideal boobs and ive ended up with something im not happy with x

Re: really unhappy with my breast
Are the gummi gel different than the soft cohesive gel or the same...totally confused about that?! Tear drops are firmer than round ones have to be aren't they? I have naturally wide gap on my chest so I am expecting something along those lines... but you know, I think it looks more natural without the bras on . Plus when they FULLY drop they WILL have more give. I would BET 'black caviar' style they soften in another month and squish together for you ... a lot of girls have said theirs have. Do you mind if I view your photos? I hope it's not rude to ask...

Re: really unhappy with my breast
Thanks for letting me take a peek babe . They have got a lot to drop yet! You can see it in the upper chest, no stress! When they fall they will come forward, for sure. They look great!
Dunno if this helps but we all have different breastbone shapes... only you know if this will relate to you... no offence if it doesn't xx

Re: really unhappy with my breast
thank you so much for the link katy i think it does relate to me although i dont have a severe case i definetly have a prominent chest bone and my surgeon did use the high profile implants which is advised in the link so i guess he did a good job and hopefully as i got a cleavage before with this condition i will again x must add this forum is great for info and support x
