Bought new sports bra, but now boobs are sore :(
Hey girls, I'm 10 days post op. Pre op I would have worn a 34A/B. Post op I had been wearing a primark sports bra, 36DD, but it really wasnt comfortable, the elastic was digging into me! So I went to M&S and got a 34DD sports bra, better quality, better support! I wore it all day yesterday, but have woken up with really sore boobs this morning. I feel like I've taken a few steps back in recovery. Could the new sports bra be too tight and squishing them?
I'm just having a bit of a moan. I'm finding the recovery a bit rough. I just want to be pain free.
My new boobs also feel really foreign to me, I havent even really touched them yet.

i had the primark sports bra and at first mine was uncomfortable i didnt start wearing a bra till i was 1 week post op i stuck with it and now i dont think i could live without it mine was to big on the band and too small on the cup so kept my boobies in place whilst not being to tight on the band it was a 34d and im a 32dd. The sore boobs thing i found varied from day today i still get sore some days now so i wouldnt worry to much about it being the bra x just remember that you gonna have bad days but soon every day is gonna be a good day and you now you have the boobies youve always wanted x

I was told to wear a sportsbra that was comfortable but not binding. After all, you want the boobies to drop into the pocket.
I measure a 34DDD (F) in bras but wear a 38DD sportsbra for it's comfort and mine are dropping to a dream.
Just check w/ your PS, they all have different ideas of what to do, but honestly I'd want to be comfortable as possible.
Happy healing!
