capsular contracture
my ps has just told me i have cc in my right boob GUTTED :( its been higher rounder and harder from the beginning but ps thought it was the muscle gripping implant been going to see him every 2 months. hes put me on glucosamine + chondroitin sulphate he said there is 50% chance this will break down the cc. im to give it a month if no change i will be booked in for a capsulotomy in january this will not cost me anything. thank god it happened in first year as they only have one years aftercare. i will update in a month to let you know if these pills have worked ive not heard of them being used for this

Re: capsular contracture
That's the thing that scares me the most...being 5 weeks out post-BA and not knowing if my left boob, that is higher, and more firmer than my right, is due to just it taking longer to drop or if it is indeed cc...my next appointment with my PS isn't until December 14th...

Re: capsular contracture
Aly im the same withy right I saw my ps on Monday at 7 weeks PO and asked him if it was cc. He said it was to early to tell but would know in a few weeks so I'm seeing him again on 28th November when hopefully I'll find out. Hoping all will well by then though.
Terena did you have am idea from the start it was cc or did it come as a complete shock?
