build up of blood behind 4 month old incision?! Empty build up of blood behind 4 month old incision?!

Post by Maisie07 14th October 2011, 7:26 pm

hi
all of a sudden a build up of blood has appeared behind my healed incision?! i'm four months post op and my incisions are completly healed so now i just have scars, but when i went to put bio oil last night i noticed my left incision had turned black?! could my internal stitches have healed incorrectly? i don't see how i can be bleeding from inside, i'm not bleeding out, if that makes any sense? my boob is also a bit twingy but not painful as such, ive also had a rash on my boob which has spread down my arm and my boobs get really itchy sometimes

any one had anything similar?

Hi hun

I didn't go to see my PS in the end because i couldn't get hold of him! But, my incision has settled down now, there is no blood behind it anymore and the incision is looking a lot more like a normal scar, still a bit raised but i am keeping an eye on it. Still can't really understand what happened but am trying to take it a bit easier at work in regards to lifting so i don't pull anything as thats how it occurred in the first instance. Hopefully it will continue to heal nicely!

xxxx
