abbey pines girls - please help :)
Hi Girls,
I'm booked in at Abbey pines on 21st October - soooooo excited it's unreal! Anyway I'm now at that stage where I am worrying about EVERYTHING! I've managed to find the answers to most of my questions by looking at other peoples posts. However, just 1 question - I'm in as a night case and my hubby is coming with me (I live a 2 hour drive away) and Transform have paid for hin to stay in a local B&B, I know they will feed me but do Abbey pines have anywhere my hubby can buy food or will we need to take his lunch/tea with us?
Thank you
Denise xx

Hi Nise! My op is at Abbey Pines on 17th October! I live about 15 mins away in Salford so my fella is dropping me off and my mom is piccking me up the following day as he is working a 12 hour shift on the 18th!
All my consultations have been at the hospital itself as it's the closest one to me and i know the area quite well! Do you know where the B&B is? There may be food available at a restaurant attached to it?
As for the actual hospital itself I'm not sure if they'd provide food for him as well as yourself :S As i live a bit closer my boyfriemd will probably just be going home whilst I'm in surgery but they may be able to provide him with a lunch while he waits for you?
