I didn't do this hun, but I would think it would be worthwhile going along, you'll certainly be able to gain some knowledge from the evening. Just don't go signing on any dotted lines. xx

Re: Free BA Talk
I did book to go at the beginning of this year but totally forgot the date I was supposed to be there (started new job). I only remembered because they emailed me to asked if I wanted them to send me a brochure with all the pamphlets available about information regarding all of their surgeons and price list etc... Sad I missed it and would definitely sign up to go again and actually remember to turn up this time lol

Re: Free BA Talk
I went to a mini consult like this at the Nuffield and ended up booking my op through them. Was very helpful and a chance to see a surgeon and discuss things etc before making a proper consultation! Xxx

Re: Free BA Talk
I did this at spire, Gatwick park. I ended up going with the 2nd surgeon I met there. It's just a very quick 15 minute consultation and then if your interested you go back for a more thorough consultation, my surgeon let me have that one 1/2 price. (as I booked with them it was included in the price). So I'd say it's well worth going along. I've had a fantastic experience with spire and soul highly recommend them. Good luck! X

Re: Free BA Talk
When I went to mine, they told me about the risks, what I hoped to achieve and had a look and measured them. We didn't have time to discuss sizes so that was done in the next consultation. I found the first consultation was quite scary as it was mostly about the risks and the downsides of surgery. I think it might be to make sure your serious and you know what to expect. The second consultation was much more relaxed and we had loads of time to go through everything. Good luck! Xxx

Re: Free BA Talk
lol, i would only imagine youd do that on you 1st consultation (the one that you pay for), this was certainly the case for me..and my sster who had hers done too, and even then, its done in a safe enviroment with a lady nurse there too. also, as its the start of your journey, it feels worth it :) xx

Re: Free BA Talk
I had two 15 minute free mini consultations at Spire with 2 different surgeons and they had a look both times and again when I went for my second consultation. Dont worry, they were both very professional and put me at ease. You dont have your top off any longer than necessary. He also brought in a female nurse with me when I went on my own. Try not to be scared, it'll all be worth it in the end and you'll be finding any excuse to get them out!! xxx

Re: Free BA Talk
Well went to the talk this morning with my husband and found it to be very informative !there were only about 12 of us but i think the majority were for lifts and reducing! The speaker was Prof Simon Kaye and seemed a very nice man ,he showed pictures of different women he had operated on and basically went through what happens in a BA,there were bits an bobs to take home and a question time at the end,it only took around 40 mins, the hospital and staff we spoke to seemed very nice and im thinking of arranging a consult with him,Has anyone had their BA with this surgeon?
