1 week check-up
Just had my one week check-up. The PS is very happy with how I'm healing, scolded me a bit for trying to overdo it the last 2 days. Strick advice...no cooking, cleaning or picking up heavy thinks (this means my two fat cats ).
My stitches are dissolvable, so they are still in, but I'm allowed to get them wet now. They look yuk, all raised and knobby, this will luckily get better as the stiches start dissolve, can't wait for that.
Have to say, when he pulled of the dressing that was covering them, it felt like he was pulling off skin, a few big four letter words escaped my mouth.lol. He just laughed.
All is well, the implants are adhering well to the chest wall, and the swelling looks a lot better, he assured me as soon as the muscle starts streching and getting used to the implant, it will alow for the fluffing and dropping to start. I will however see an improvement weekly. Only downfall....have to wear the so not sexy sportsbra for another 5 weeks.
Hope all the Post op girls are doing well and healing ok.
