Going from bad to worse

Im 4 weeks post op and i have an infection in my scars. Im starting to regret having my boobs done now, i feel like everything has just gone wrong, i did everything like i was told. Ive had enough.

I was rushed to mya yesterday as i had a temperature since sunday and couldnt even stand up, my right boob has swelled up to. Yes i saw the nurse and she said i had infection. She took swabs and got me antibotics and new dressing on.

Was back up there today and i saw a surgeon who told me it on top of the wound, so it hasnt gone any deeper. With antibotics and dressing will heal, at this point i and felt like such a baby, but im starting to regret having them done. I just wana cry my eyes out

But i just had enough now, i just want everything to go right.

Mya have been great tho, they have been so caring and keep calling me, im seeing another nurse thursday to change my dressing and see mr singh.

My PC hannah is great. It just looks like its gona take abit longer for me to heal up now. x

It will only be a little longer for the scars to heal hun but I can understand you are upset. There is nothing you or anyone could have done. Hopefully in a few weeks they will start behaving

gosh u seem to be having it rough with sickness etc since boobies hopefully this is the last of it and clears them scars up nicely xx

Hey tash so sorry you're having such a rough go of it, but honestly, they'll be healed up before you know it. You've got the antibiotics and thank god the infection was just on the surface, it will be sorted soon!

I'm sure you'll be ok, but I can imagine you're feeling down. These things happen, and it could be a lot worse, but even those girls who've had really serious internal infections, at the end when it's all sorted out, they still love their boobs.

Give it a few weeks and I'm sure you'll feel much better

Aww sweety I hope you're ok. I know exacty how you feel :-( I got an infection in my left boob a week post op, and was rushed back in. Then got an infection in my scars! I did everything I was told too. I had that same regret too, I just cried last week when I was in hospital because I felt like I had been such an idiot for doing this to myself, thinking really my boobs weren't that bad before, etc. But the antibiotics are working for me now so you'll be feeling much more positive very soon. Just hang in there hunny! You'll look back on this in a few months time and see that it was just a little blip and you will be enjoying your fabulous new boobies! Xxxxxx

Thank goodness you have such a wonderful and caring set of nurses and doctors. I'm sure you are in good hands and they will take wonderful care of you. Don't worry, this too shall pass, and when everything is done and over with, I'm sure you will have forgotten about this as you'll just be too consumed in thought of the love you have for your new boobies! :)

Aw big hun, it does seem like you have been through the mill, but it can only get better from hear on, it must be having a huge effect on you at the moment which is understandable, your very lucky you have really caring nurses who are looking after you. Get well hun x x x x x

oh bless you hun.... this is the rough that comes with the smooth..... the smooth will come round again!! It will get sorted. I know loads of girls who have had infections and were really worried like you are, but now that is a memory and they love their boobies. Its just a blip..... keep ur chin up, thinking of you.
