In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
I have noticed in clothes I think my boobs look tiny :( Pah :( Bit disapointing as thought i would have more shape afterwards, but i cant see any difference to before, without clothes i can see but cant with them. Going to buy some bras today as was told yesterday i can wear whatever bra i want as long as i take the underwire out, stuck wearing certain clothes because of these bras being so big, hoping when i can put other bras on i will feel i look better

Hi I am pre BA still but I have heard alot of people saying this. I don't think support bras are very flattering, they squash you. You will find that when you put a normal bra on you should see a huge difference :) even now pre ba i know what clothes make my boobs look bigger and which make me look flat chested, it's all about finding which styles suit you :) xx

Just wait til you're out of those boulder holders hun. ;-) You'll be looking much bigger with a good bra and feel much happier!

at 34 FF you are not flat chested!!! haha believe me!! I am a 32 B and to be honest I know i am not flat chested, as there are people smaller than me out there. Its not about size, its about shape and curve. You still have alot of change to go through, I wouldnt worry :) x

Dawnmids, I know mine feel the same, but yours look really large hun! Just wait til you get into a sexy bra - and you'll fill it out - with no padding - you will be OVER THE MOON! Also, remember, there's nothing to say you can't use a push up for an extra oomph when you feel like it!

Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
I have the same feelings as dawnmids, and I'm barely 2 weeks post-op...for example, I'm getting dressed for work this morning and picked out this black shirt that fit me great when I wore majorly padded bras....today, I put it on and it's just not fitting right, and I feel totally uncomfortable in it. Like dawnmids said, this shirt does my new boobs no justice...when I look at myself in the mirror it hardly looks like I got anything done...looks like the same old me wearing those stupid same old padded bras lol. Can't wait to go shopping here soon...new bras and some new tops! I might just have a yard sale to get rid of all my nice shirts that fit me correctly back in the padded bra days. :-P

Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
went debenhams and tried on some new bras, and i look at 34FF and think no way can i fit in them they look huge, but i fill them, so i cant be as small as i think, bought a couple, but nurse said i will have to take wire out, which will be gutting as they are not cheap :(
Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
Our brains are wierd. I am so used to my boobs now, I picked up one of my new bras and went to throw it away thinking it was an old (tiny) one. Its definately not tiny as I can fit it on my head.

Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
i went in wired bras at about 5 weeks. I wouldnt take the wires out of a good bra for the sake of a week or two tbh, unless your scars are still unhealed

Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
my scars are healed and boobs are soft and they said about fully into pockets too now, i dont really want to take the underwire out so may see if i can get away with it :)
Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
see how it feels. Maybe just put the new bras on while youre round the house for an hour or two to see if it feels ok. or just for certain occasions ;) You might not find them comfy at first, and then build it up to wearing them properly over the course of the next 2 or 3 weeks.
I got a couple of nice maternity bras for the annoying inbetween stage, where i wanted to be out of sports bras, but wasnt quite ready for wires. Some of them are really nice, and you can still use them for sleep bras afterwards

Re: In Clothes My Boobs Look Small :(
Hi, I also find my boobs look a lot smaller in clothes. I have a some jumpers that make them look massive though, and they are both light coloured, slightly cropped, tight fitting and they have quite high necklines. I find any top which is a shorter length makes them look a decent size, as my boobs seem to take up more room in it, if that makes sense?! Xx
