I wouldn't worry too much. I have been carrying stuff as well... you just forget don't you! I was spreading shavings in my horses stable yesterday and felt a bit of a pull on the scar so taking it easy today! I keep doing things then thinking I shouldn't. It's difficult when you feel ok in yourself but have to keep reminding yourself that you can't do stuff!

Hi, im nearly 6 weeks now and done stuff I shouldnt, as you say you just forget but usually Ive felt a pull or felt my inplant tug. Im sure you'll be ok but just try and remember to take it easy and build up slowly. Ha ha just to make you smile, I got on my kitchen work surface this morning to clean the window and couldnt get back down, couldnt put any pressure on my hands to lower myself down so had to wait for my partner to get me, at least the windows got a good clean whilst I was waiting. Hey Vixen,

I've done stuff I shouldn't also and I'm just past 3 weeks - but I think our bodies will tell us what we can handle. Just take it easy when you can. My nurse told me that after 3 weeks it's ok to "engage the pecs" so as long as you weren't bench pressing those bags, you should have been ok to carry them, but of course, take it easy!!

xx

Hi Hun,

I wouldn't worry much your body will let you know if your over doing it. I've got an 11 month old and forgeting I'm not suppose to be carrying her only hip only when she has to be put in pram etc. It's so hard were all just so use to getting on with it but please be careful I have seroma and am wondering if it's because I've done much.

How do feel? Do you feel like you've done some damage? If not, I'm sure you'll be fine. x
