Re: Moderate or High Profile...
There is a difference in the projection and look of the moderate and the high profile implants but how much difference depends alot on your body. If your chest wall is very narrow, you might need the high profile to get the volume and look you want. if you want to stay a bit more conservative but still have some excess upper pole fullness, the moderate. I hope this helps I have moderate profile

Re: Moderate or High Profile...
Yes as Flower11 explained it all depends on your body, Im having high profiles, so they will project a bit more. Certainly bring this up with your surgeon at consultation x x

Dont fall into the catagory that High profiles are just for narrow chested people some of them are the same width as moderate implants but it depends how many cc's you have and what brand implant. Find out which implant and look up the sizes in the online catalogue. Depends how much projection you want too x

Re: Moderate or High Profile...
I agree with Lolly. My PS told me I have broad shoulders and a broad chest, but he's giving me HP's! They are still going to have a wide enough base to fill my breast width (it's all been measured out), but as Lolly says, they just have a higher cc volume than if I were going for a lower profile, to allow for the extra projection out front.

I thought I wanted moderate + and this is what I was given my first ba. I hated them. They were flat and wide on me. I exchanged them for the HP's 5 months later and LOVE my new HP's! Not really bigger, just better They sit better and look tons better. GL hun!

I'm also getting an implant exchange to HP's.They will actually be a tiny bit wider at the base then my Mods are.Just as the other ladies have said, the more CC's the wider the base is on some HP implants. So they can look good even on a woman that is a little broader. My mods look great in a bra and a bikini top but when I am fully dressed they look wide and flat on me.I am looking forward to getting more projection from the new implants.
Good luck in your decision

Could be an excuse for a change of career to 'bikini model'?!?! KIDDING! Can't wait to hear how you get on with your new HP's! Not long now until your re-op! I've got my fingers crossed for you that your project gets back to what it was naturally. x
