how many sports bras did you buy?!
Hi girls,
Bit random I know but given their general ugliness :) and how costly they are how many sports bras did you buy to get you through the first 6 weeks. My DR sells them for €35 so was gonna buy 2 and then a few cheapie pennies ones? What did you do?
xx

I bort a Macom because you'll only need to know your band size rather than bust size they are about £35 but they're mega comfy I also got a Tesco one for £7 which was nice and low cut and supportive but it only goes to an E cup don't get too many or you'll have loads to take back lol x

Re: how many sports bras did you buy?!
I just waited and wore the surgery bra they gave me for the first week and then once I had the swelling more under control I bought one sportsbra. I may buy another one at some point. But I mostly use those tank tops with built in shelf bras at home, on weekends, and to sleep in!!

thanks ladies!
will just use what the dr gives me and think the rest will come from primark.
the primark ones are actually quite nice! I got one charcoal and one black. I am in dublin so they were €6 each :)

I am so confused about how many to buy pre-op, wondering if I should just get 2 or 3 and then hope I will be able to go shopping not too long after when I actually know how big they are! Might have to be internet shopping not actual shopping tho, lol!

I asked my surgeon what size to buy and he said a DD & an E, I already had a shock absorber so bought an M&S high impact one. Would recommend a bigger back size too as I'm normally a 32 but found it a bit tight. I then bought one from Asda once they had settled a bit xx

God I bought about 5 and to be fair I still buy them now, I know they are ugly but they are the most comfortable thing in the world. A lovely looking sports bra with big knickers really spices up the love life I find!!!!

Re: how many sports bras did you buy?!
I brough 2 to start with in a really large band size ( im a 28-30 band but brought 34 bands as I had loads of swelling)
then at about 5 weeks the swelling went down and they were HUGE on me so had to get 1 more 30G debenhams own make.

I have now got about 8! SOme days I need a 36 and some a 38 and some times a d and sometimes a dd. ALso a mixture of black and white depending on what you are wearing. I haven't paid much for any of them, had them off ebay. PLus you need to keep them clean and don't want to be having to keep doing washes!

Re: how many sports bras did you buy?!
My theory was, buy a cheap one (like Tesco £6) in a few different sizes, just to find out which size I was. Then buy a more expensive one.
Then I ended up buying 2 more expensive ones, and kept wearing the cheap ones!! Just wait until you know what you're comfortable in xx
