My incision sites are so dark and red and look bruised still. is this normal given that I am 4 weeks post op? x

Everyone is different hun. But while the scars are healing they can be quite dark and sore looking

I'm curious to watch this thread - I have bruising on one side and not on the other, and more oozing on one side than the other. I'm going for my first follow-up today and let you know what my PS says about this!!

It can take a long time for the scars to fade but they will become less noticable and barely visible over time. I had an uplift and I am 7 months po so you can imagine how much scarring I have but I am pleased to say the further along po I am the better my scars are looking.

Hi hun,it is normal for them too look dark at this stage,mine did for quite a few months,but ipromise you now they have faded completely and you can't see them at all.Even my OH says they are amazing!x
