gaps under cups!
so i am 6 weeks and 3 days po and have started wearing bras which is so exciting i could wee a little bit lol
but...
i have gaps at the bottom of the cups on both sides, kind of just above wear the underwire is??
Has anyone else had this, is it that the bras are too big or is it because they havent dropped?

I can't speak from experience, but it sounds to me like they still need to drop... Hopefully in a few more weeks they will drop and fill out the bra totally :D xx

I haven't had the joy of bra fitting yet but if I am picturing it right, I would agree with the dropping statement. If the underwire sits close to your ribs and the cup fits at the top then I reckon the breast still has some softening and dropping to do.

Hi, I had this problem too but it has improved lately, so I think it is just because they need to drop a little more. When I used to take my bra off at night, the marks from the underwires were a good inch or so under my crease and I was worried that it would always be like that, but they fit snugly just under the crease now, and I fill the whole cup nicely :)

Re: gaps under cups!
It does sound like you haven't finished dropping yet which is very normal for this early post op.
Re: gaps under cups!
I actually read things which said since an implant is not as mushy as a real breast (and actually perfectly circular), they make special bras for girls post-BA. I haven't gotten to this stage yet - but you may want to check it out online!!
although, for long term, once you've dropped and softened I'm sure the regular bras will fit wonderfully!

Hi, I think augmented breast's just sit differently in bras. Mine have done the same since day one and I am 7 months po now but as long as it's sitting flat against you and the cup isn't to small you should be fine hun x
