Ha Ha i suppose everyone's got different opinions eh?! You'll have to let me know if you think the macom is worth it or not.Claire1003 wrote:Drains are out, little stingy but totally fine.
Spoke to another nurse who said the Macom was fine and didn't know what the other lady was on about!
Off home soon and I'll get a story up, keep getting so so sleepy x
Glad it was ok having your drains out. Looking forward to reading all about your day Woohoo you're all done!!

Thanks for keeping us posted Claire - glad to hear the drains weren't too awful! Enjoy your sleep and I look forward to your next post xx
Good luck to Rosygirl - I wish you a good night's sleep and look forward to hearing from you too tomorrow (if you are up to it).
Thanks to all the girls who are keeping us posted - it really helps me to know I am not on my own and what to expect, etc. Not long now!!!

Re: October Buddies!
Congratulations on paying off Jordan that must be an amazing feeling!! Ive paid my deposit but I'm paying the rest over 12 months interest free. May pay it off early though if it becomes a drag!!
As for sports bras..... I'm currently 34B, having 410/460cc implants and I've gone for 34DD, 34E and 36DD, to be honest I'm really rubbish with sizing so I've just sort of gone with what i thinks best and then I'll buy more of the size i'm comfiest in!! I don't knwo whether this is a good idea or not but theres so many things it can depend on!!

Hi jbird Where did you get your sports bras from? I just ordered a few cheap ones from asda. Do you think I should order the more exspensive branded ones.

Re: October Buddies!
I've just got mine from Tescos hun! I'm going with cheap ones until i know what size will fit nicely after the op! To be honest Tesco and Asda didn't have the sizes i wanted so thats partly why i've got a selection of sizes!! I had to keep going in and seeing what they had!!

Re: October Buddies!
Good luck Rosiegirl!!
Well im home now, got back at 6pm so had some dinner and now watching some pish tv my mum has on the box.
Ill get a full story up soon, but all in all a great day and THG were lovely.
The macom bra is very comfy and ill be wearing it for the rest of my healing, just going to get some other ones as the M&S ones are moulded cups so they said they wouldnt support as well.
Going to try a 34D for the swelling so Im hoping for a 32DD in a while when they settle down x

Re: October Buddies!
Thanks girlies :)
Iv just tried on one of the bras that Im taking back... The 34DD fits a treat but where its a moulded cup and my boobs are solid there are empty spaces. At least I know what size I am at the mo, hoping to stay in the DD
OOOOO not long for you two now 6 and 9 days they will fly! Id recommend some sucky sweets for after as your throat will be very sore x

Re: October Buddies!
Finally there, op tomorrow, am going to pack tonight and get all the last minute bits done in the house before my mum arrives to look after me!
Do I need to take my V pillow with me to the hospital? I'm going to get a duvet and normal pillow in the back of the car so I'm comfy on the way home but wasn't sure about the V one.
Will also pack my macom as I will be taped up but for some reason my surgeon leaves the boobies free so I think I'd feel weird without one!
Oh, and when will I start to realise this is actually happening? I thought it would have sunk in by now!
PS Good luck for tomorrow Bronzewolf x

Re: October Buddies!
Hey Girlies,
I am now the proud owner of new bigger boobies!! Waiting for my Ps to come around and tell me what size cc he used; when I was in recovery he told me he used bigger than we discussed!!wwwwhhhhooooo
Have loved the whole experience and the pain isn't that bad. Managed to have a sleep earlier, but the pain was a bit worse when I woke so got good pain relief. My bf is with me and has been amazing.
Good Luck to all the rest of the Octoboober Girlies!!
xx
