Re: October Buddies!
My BA is 1 week and 2 days away. I'm surpisingly mellow... Not sure why because i'm a little bit of a spaz. lol Got my Pre op surgery apt on Thurs the 29th so maybe i'll start to freak out after that. :) Going shopping this weekend to get my new pillows and neck pillows, and everything else I need to get before the surgery. Told my husbad that we'll be scrubbing the house from top to bottom on Sunday. lol

Re: October Buddies!
i think my nurse was just over cautious, you'll find alcohol isn't a problem its giving up garlic. EVERYTHING has garlic in lol xx

Re: October Buddies!
Lol had this garlic drama a few pages back,..... what on earth are we meant to eat. Again though been told 48 hours? Hmmmm think might call and check about booze. Don't want to make silly mistakes for the sake of a night out

Re: October Buddies!
ooh... i thought it was 2 weeks before that we can't drink alcohol and 48hrs before no garlic.. i may have got that totally wrong. I guess we'll just be eating jacket potatoes and beans, toast, christ i can't think of anything else that doesn't have garlic in it?! Biscuits, fruit......xxx

Re: October Buddies!
I was told nothing that can thin the blood, I looked up arnica on internet and it says it has those properties, which is a bit strange as is is a healig agent, but to be on safe side I'll stay away from it. Have huge list of things not to do, alcohol I was told 48hrs but a week is preferable, no fake tan 1 week before either
