Confirming size on surgery day?!?! Hmmmm

I'm due to go in October 3rd for 300cc overs with me Nathan for transform at riverside
When I had my consultation he said 300 and I quickly tried them on but it was very busy so was abit rushed.
After I thought about it I decided I wanted more a DD/e look rather than C/D
Emailed the coordinator and she said she'd ema him that I wanted to go larger and on the day of surgery he would tell me what my options were!
A friend of mine said she did the sane with THG and when she got there they only had the small size she didn't want as they didn't order it as it was left too late to change it???
Do they have a room of implants or r they ordered specific to Wat there using that day??

This is why I so strongly advise for everyone to arrange a second pre-op consultation 'before' their op.
I'd personally call your clinic and tell them you aren't preapared to wait till the day of your surgery and you'd like to arrange a second consultation as you'd like time with your surgeon to discuss your concerns, don't take no for an answer hun. xx

Hey huni, yeah defiantly get another pre consulatation to garentee ur size options, unfortunatly they don't have an implant room (oh i asked this lol) implants are expensive and are ordered especially for each patient, I went with mmya an they were great they ordered me 3 sizes that were there on the day, even though I had kind of made my mind up, so maybe they can do that for you, I changed my mind last minute! Good luck chick defo book that appoinment if poss xx

Definitely get yourself a 2nd consultation. I had mine yesterday and the PS said that he would order in 2 sizes as I'm unsure which cc's to go for. If for some reason you can't get one, I can see no reason why you can't just ask them to order in a selection of sizes so you have the choice on the day!

They have to order them individually babe (there's no boobie bank out the back :-P) so definitely ask for another consultation.

I had a second consultation just last week to re-confirm the size I wanted, and also what size my breast can "take". My PS measured my breast width, etc and noted what size he thought he would use, but said that when he goes into surgery he takes a range of different sized implants, and once I'm opened up he'll use sizers to gauge exactly what size will fit and look best.
So really... I've just got to have faith he knows what look I'm after, and will chose the size that is best while I'm on the table!!

That's the same as me kiwigirl. My ps said make some rice boobs to see roughly what size I'd like and he'd use sizers on the day to decide what will look best. I've just emailed them now to ask what profile they will be using. He will call me a week before to go through everything again but I like to be well prepared. I'm thinking of 300cc under the muscle, I'm 5'5" and 9 stone 2lbs hoping to be around a D. The rice boobs filled the 34D sports bra nicely. Xxx

I had decided exactly on the size (375cc)on my 2nd pre op appointment but my surgeon still ordered a 400cc and a 300cc as he said he would ensure he made them look how I wanted ie full but natural so would use one of the others if the 375 didn't give the effect I had asked for. I would have been terrified to have made the decision on the day - it should be an as relaxing experience as possible on the day and you shouldn't have to be worrying about them having the right size for you especially as you know someone this has happened to x

I would definitley ask for a second pre op appointment. I agree with Lou, the day of your op should be stress free and relaxing;My PS has ordered a few size cc for me, after I tried on the sizers as he said that its only when he is putting the implants in will he see which size gives me the best results.

Got an appointment with him on 5th of sept!
My PC said she thinks 340 will b my largest option as his written on my form 300cc, the sumink about rippling if I go bigger!
So will wait and c!!! Xx

I had a second consultation with one of my potential PS on tuesday hunni and I'm glad I did - we changed the size of my implant to the biggest possible size he thought I could get away with, 410cc in my left and 450cc in my right,
I'm glad I went back and pushed for the bigger ones,

Tracy I was the same as you, at my first appt he said 300/315cc, then when I had my second appt we agreed on 345cc; he woulnd't go any bigger, although he will have a 330cc & 315cc there just incase.

My surgeon said I have to be absolutely sure what I want before the day of the op because if I come in on the morning saying I've changed my mind and want something different he'd just cancel the whole thing! xx

Fuzzy - My PS said that he would have a few options just in case the larger one couldn't fit in or the other sizes gave better results. I thought that was what all the surgeons did. Have you decided on a size yet?

I think he meant more like going from a small size to a massive size or anatomical to round that sort of thing. I'm undecided between 300-330. I've got another consultation in September when we'll go more into profile and things like that. I haven't shown him any pics of the look I'm looking for yet so it might even change again. I'm sure he wouldnt put in a size that didnt give me what I asked for though!
In the end you just don't really know what they're gonna be like till they're in.
It's a shame they cant show you halfway through your op to get your opinion!
