Veiny Boobs!!!

Hi girls

I have my BA booked for 25th September.

When I went for my consultation my surgeon said that my boobs may become more veiny, just one of the possible side effects of having a BA.

When I was pregnant with my 3 children my boobs became swollen... not huge but more than what I had before I became pregnant. I noticed that they did become quite veiny. Now Im worried that because they went veiny when I was pregnant then theres a big chance they will when I have my BA done.

Has anyone developed veiny boobs after their BA?. Or whats the chances of the vieins disappearing once they settle down?

Not a look im looking for really lol

hi hun, i just got one extra vein on my right boob n it only comes up every now n then, like....once every 3 weeks or somthin, n only for half hr or so. dont know why!! but otherwise not much veininess at all! i went from a c cup to a g cup. :) xx

hi hun my boobs are very veiny after mine but i fake tan anyway and that covers them pretty good xxx

Yip - I second the fake tan! It's pretty normal hunni - a small price to pay for some lovely big boobs.

Due to the skin being so tight and stretched the skin can seem almust transparant early post-op sweetie.

I'm sure as the swellings in your breasts settled down, the veins did too lovely, I had two very deep stretch marks that ran through my breasts (one on each side) where my breasts were so overstretched it looked as though my skin were about to tear them themseves apart!, they healed to what looks like two deep veins running on my breasts, they don't matter to me, I earned though scars and they came from my babies, I'd never remove anything my children give, those are mine to keep lol.

Yes as I said earlier I did have very veiny breasts early post-op after my surgery, they disappeared almost as quickly as they came one my skin had relaxed and softened around the breast.

All perfectlt fine now Veiny Boobs!!! 184153

mine are veiny as well but maybe a little better than they were to start! Iv been told that if I change the placement to over the muscle they will get worse. A good splash'n of fake tan and some bronzer works wonders tho!

Who told you that lovely? I have overs and apart from the two deep scars I had rom pregnany, now my breasts are fully settled, the veins simply disappeared Veiny Boobs!!! 48411

it was a surgeon, makes sence really... the implant would be pushed up against them more?

Darlin' early post-op, everybodys skin is overstretched and pressed right up against the skin Veiny Boobs!!! 267328

As the skin relaxes, the veins disapear, I've had a larger implant in than I do now, had overs with both and had veiny boobs with both that went as the skin relaxed. xx

I think the surgeon was simply stating that my veiny boobs could get worse with the over placement - i have unders atm and my boobs are pretty veiny, im 1 yr post op.

As your skin is veiny with unders, you must have very thin skin. With opting to go with overs you will definately see the veins there as there is no longer the cushioning from the muscle and your skin is too thin not see the veins. xx

hiya my veins are out quite a bit at the mo but that cause im only 6 days post up but they do become less visible xxx

Thanks everyone for your advice, its not put me off if I end up with veiny boobs then so what!! I feel its a small price to pay for having my dream boobs!!!

Cookie - I totally agree with your sweet about the stretch marks, I have got quite a few stretch marks on both of my breasts but I wouldnt change that for the world as they came from my 3 beautiful boys x

Mine have always been quite veiny . I thought they'd go down a bit but try didn't! Two years on they are less noticible but a good slap if fake tan ans bronzer does the trick xxx

Sally, I think thats what I will do if it happens then nothing a bit of fake tan wont sort out... small price to pay i think

Hey girlies, I had my BA nearly 6 weeks ago and they hadn't looked much more veiny but in the past week I've noticed them a lot more. Would they have come up in first place though when I first had the op?! Or maybe I'm just being paranoid! Xxx

Mine came up straight away :( I was half expecting it though as I got really veiny boobs when I was pregnant. Im hoping htey will settle down a bit as they settle more

My veins have popped through in the past couple of days! I'm nearly 6 weeks post op now which is weird! Hopefully they'll calm down or something soon? haha xx

i had one vein visible as soon as i'd had my ba which i knew would be there as it was there when my boobs got huge during pregnancy!! the vein goes right round my right nipple very strange doesn't bother me thou rather have veiny but full boobies xx

I wont be too bothered about this as this is something that also comes with pregnancy, and it is a veruy small price to pay for our new boobies.

Mine look more veiny in the winter (before BA) because i get soooooo pale. so with a bit of fake tan, i think they would be covered. My veins didn't really appear until 1 week post op - they're nnot bulging, just very blue - i'm hoping when I drop and muscle relaxes, they'll be less visible. But WHO CARES since I have big boobies LOL Veiny Boobs!!! 557141

The veins will soon disappear after the stretching of your boobies goes down...mine were veiny too in the beginning, now I can hardly notice them...give it more time :)
