sianni85 wrote:Yeah I paid £4300 to go from a 32a to a 32b. Gutted. If I was to have a re-op I still only want to be a full 32c, nothing really big. It's just if I turn to the side I barely have any shape at all. You prob think I sound well fussy complaining about a cup size. Does anyone know how to upload pics? I'd really like to put my before and afters up so you can tell me what you think. Feel like I've stared at them so much i can't tell what they look like anymore. Would value your honest opinions

I can feel your pain I have been unhappy with my breasts to the point of obsession. Its getting harder as I dont want to have to heal now and then have to do it all agian if I have a re op!
I have pics on picture trail if you would like to have a look at mine. I am not happy with the size or the implant placement. I also have developed a small double fold as the swelling has gone down and I think a bigger implant would have fixed that. I also have a low profile implant which may not be helping my nipples sit where they should because it is flat and my skin is streetched from breast feeding..
Looking forward to see what they say at your next visit and I hope they help you.

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
are you sure youre measuring yourself right? Whats your underbust measurement and your fullest part measurement?
Im asking because when you specify a cup size its difficult because there are different ways of measuring which will give a different cup size, and also from bra to bra, the fit will change. I have different sizes which all fit me ok. One day i might wear my debenhams bra in a 30F and the next day i might wear my ann summers one in a 32DD. It doesnt mean my boobs have shrunk from one day to the next, or that im actually a DD. In fact if i measure myself in one way im a 30E, but try telling that to different bra manufacturers ;) If i measure myself in the old fashioned way, im a 34B :| and thats with 420cc implants.
see what I mean?
I sense maybe an issue you "might" have, is the fact that youve taken in pictures of what you liked the look of, but then specified to your surgeon that you only wanted a specific type of implant and that you didnt want to go too big.
It sounds to me like hes given you the things you specified. You cant realistically ask for a specific bra size because its unlikely to happen. Surgeons dont work in cup sizes, because as i said, it varies from bra to bra and from band size to band size. A 30D is much smaller than a 36D, and its all about perception
look at the pictures on this site to prove my point about cup sizes
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I hope your surgeon is understanding and will sort it out for you, but i see this being a problem of people having so much access to information and going in with very strict ideas of what they want, when really maybe its best to show the surgeon the look your after without telling him exactly how he should acheive it for you, because if you do, youve got a lot less comeback later if its not how you expected.
Good luck

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
Yeah I can see what you mean. But I always showed him the pics and I did not specify a size other than to say I wear a 32c now and would like to be around that size. With regards to specifying the look my only criteria was that I had the anatomicals as I did not want the fullness above my nipple. I did ask if I could still achieve a decent fullness below the nipple and I was told yes. But I haven't. From the side I look like a 14 yr old boy.
I love the look from the front to be fair. But the whole point of this op, as Ive been open and honest about from the start, was that I wanted to feel confortable braless, ina triangle bikini, in a backlesss dress etc. I wanted to have boobs that didnt need a padded bra, or even any bra, to make them the size and projection I feel confident with.
I have no doubt that in a bra they will look much better, but it wasnt what I wanted. I dont really care about size that much. I couldd measure a 32a but if they looked how i wanted id be happy. And even now some people have siad with my stats i could measure a 30d, but none of this changes how they actually look. I have a white vest on now and i look like a boy. I didnt pay 4300 for that. if the projection of them doubled I would be happy. If anyone thinks that could happen with fluffing then fab - best case scenario :) Its just if not then the projection is completely wrong. All of my friends and family are used to seeing me in the black bra in my pics and think its natural -they dont know about the chicken fillets or extra padding. I cant see any of them until Im allowed to wear padded bras otherwise they will all see a massive drop in size. They only see my clothed, and clothed there is a massive difference, and not for the better :(
Also I don't know how come I paid so much- i had the natrelle anatomicals, they should have cost 4700 but they gave me a 500 discount as i agreed to have them done before the end of august. they only had three spaces left so from what i can gather they go quickly. still gutted as whichever way you look at it they are not what i wanted and its a lot of money to be left feeling like crap isnt it?

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
I paid £4000 (fixed fee) for lifetime ones (with lifetime guarantee) and most places I called were the same or more (London and further south so probably a bit more expensive than elsewhere).
I think even if you had paid £2000 you deserve to get the results you wanted and I would definitely push to discuss it with the surgeon.
Really sorry you aren't happy - I'm sure they still look fab but I totally understand where you are coming from.
I have had a few days where I have been a bit upset about mine due to a few people saying they don't actually look the size I have been measured at and also comment someone made on here after seeing my photos, it wasn't nasty in any way and I'm sure it wasn't meant to be but did shock me a bit but I have now realised that they are actually how I wanted (completely natural look) and the look I wanted isn't for everyone so feel a bit better now.
When things settle down in a few weeks they may look different and you may feel better! xx

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
i am going to the hospital group for mine and they cost £4095. I do personally see why you feel upset as you sound like your looking for the same as me, i dont want just fullness around the front i want my boobs to stick out a decent amount too lol
Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
hi thanks everyone for all your lovely messages and support. it really means a lot. coming on here is keeping me sane, or as sane as i can be :)
i think with regards to the height and width of my implants my surgeon got it pretty close to spot on. it is just the projection that really isnt right. as ive said to some of you in pm i was expecting double if not triple the projection that they are.
i really really really hope that they will fluff by this much and i can just fall in love with my new boobs. id be happy to wait if i knew it was going to happen. however i think i need to raise my concerns properly (as someone advised me on here) now so that if they dont fluff enough then i have some come back. i paid for the full aftercare plan, and i did pay out to have boobs i felt confident with. that hasnt happened yet but it will - whether its by fluffing or a re-op. i really hope that the hospital group stay true to their word and look after me, but even if worst case scenario i have to say and pay out again, i will be wearing that red triangle bikini next summer! xxxx

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
honey, if they were double or triple that projection with the same height and width, then theyd be much much more than a D cup.
ATEOTD you did bring in pictures of the look you were after and although it would be unusual to have your end result so early after surgery, if theyre nowhere near the size of the pics you brought in, then hopefully youll have comeback

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
hiya everyone just thought id give you all an update. after spending money on train tickets for me and my mum and travelling for over an hour and a half for my appointment with surgeon we finally arrived at the hospital group clinic. i was feeling really nervous as ive been building myself up for this after everything that has happened. however we arrived and were told the surgeon wasnt. no apology for messing us around just "we thought you saw him last time. oops. can you come again monday?". my mum wasnt happy and when she said its costing money and taking time traveelin, esp on a bank holiday weekend, they jut looked gone out at us as if we were wrong for feeling annoyed/upset. if they knew the surgeon wasnt in why say come sat to see the surgeon, it dont make sense?!

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
Oh no what a pain in the backside xx I would be most unimpressed as well xx
In relation to your size, they just do not know what size you are gonna end up hun xx the same implants in two similar sized girls can sometimes give totally different results xx
Take me for example, pre op 32/34 D/DD, uplift with 170 cc and 230 cc ended up 32/34 G/GG......no rhyme no reason and no one can explain why xx
You need to discuss it with your PS and discuss the result that you want and the result you got AND ATEOTD if you haven't got what you wanted and paid for then complain xx unless there is a reason, for example your PS used the biggest implants he could in you
I would ask them to pay for you train fares yesterday at the very least xx

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
Hi all
my mum did ask about train fare and we were fobbed off. I was more upset coz Id worked myself up being so nervous, Id prepared myself to see the surgeon and then it just didn't happen.
My boobs are looking a good shape from the front I just wish they were the right size. My healing has gone really well and I've had no pain. Really scared of the op and so upset that I will most prob have to go through it all again to get the look I thought I asked for. On my last visit the patient coordinator saw me for two secs and said "for the look you wanted you most prob needed the same width and height but extra high profile" i could have told you that at the start". I just thought why on earth didnt you say that then!!? and WHY didnt you tell this to my surgeon?? Why on earth was I fitted with moderates if they knew I needed extra high profile? None of it makes sense. If the **naughty word** up with appointments is anything to go by Im going to have to toughen up, as they were really quick to fob me and wriggle out of it. They are being really "nice" but not actually helping if that makes sense. Any of you that have seen my pics -do you think the 325 extra high profile implants would give me more of aa proper breast shape with decent projection from the side, whilst still looking natural. They are .5mm wider and .5mm taller and 1.2mm extra projection. Let me know xx

Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
do you think they will agree to give you a op for free or do you think its not going to be easy?
Re: PRE - OP???!!! WTF!
Hiya
I don't think it will be easy at all, even though the nurses seemed pretty supportive. I've heard from loads of women who have had issues such as cc and stuff and even they are struggling to get re-ops. The thing is, we are all still making a purchase. We are paying for a procedure. And like any other purchase, I think that if you are mis sold or the goods are faulty it is up to the vendor, or in this case the surgeon, to fix it. I know that isn't the way, but that's the way I think it should be. I will give my surgeon all the information I can about why I am unhappy and see what he says. That is all I can do. I am absolutely gutted to be so much smaller than I wanted. I hate the fact that I will still bea wearing padding and chicken fillets. To me it's just been a waste of money. I'm still paying off the last £1000 for this ba. But if need be I will get another loan and have another boob job. I just hope to fluff loads so it won't be necessary, have my fingers crossed in the hope I get at least one cup size bigger over the next six months. 32b just isnt enough
