PRE - OP???!!! WTF!

Well as most of you may know I have been really upset with my ba. The size is no where near what I wanted and feel gutted. I went for my post op appointment today. As I walked in the room was full of people, as I walked across to the desk the receptionist said rather loudly, oh hi you're here for a pre op right? here are the forms. In front of everyone I had to say no actually I'm post op! The whole room was looking after me and the receptionist looked really shocked. Having been so upset about my size, and building myself up all week, esp on the two hour train journey to the clinic, this was the last thing I needed and promptly burst in to tears!

hiya hun sorry to hear your not happy about the size - what size were you aiming for? What did the surgeon say? Might they fluff more and get a bigger cupsize? the reception incident sounds upsetting i can imagine how you felt. Surely if you told the surgeon the size you wanted and you're no where near it then he didnt give you the product you asked for and he can do something?? hugs for you xxxx

I have been unhappy with mine to but as all the girls on here say we have to give ourselves time to heal. I too am curious as to what the sugeon said about it all. I hope they fluff and extra fluff for you and they end up how you like them.

after crying i was quickly ushered into a private room. i explained what had happened to the nurse who i had never met before. i showed her the pics id sent in and then she looked at my chest. whilst we both agreed my new boobs look natural and only slightly under proportion, she did say that they looked nothing like the pictures and that even with fluffing they wouldnt be that size. she thinks the size of implant is prob only about 50cc out but that the medium profile is the problem. she reckoned for the small but full look i was after i should have had extra high projection. as i only had 245cc when i turn to the side i dont have boobs just small lumps and the whole point of my op was to give me a profile i felt confident with. i said from the start i want the natural shape of anatomicals and i dont want to be more than a d but at the same time i wanted a full shaped pair of breasts. i have been wearing 32c bras fully padded and i even increased the padding a few weeks pre op in prep - so i didnt look drastically different. i now look a lot smaller than i did before and would need a padded bra to look the same as i did pre op. obviously i have boobs to squish together now, but as the nurse pointed out, i dont want to have to constantly wear a padded bra to get the look i want. they have booked me another appointment for next week and said if i am still not happy they will book me in to see the surgeon xxx

SOunds like they are going to look after you. You will have to keep us updated as to how it is all going.

oh hunni this is soo upsetting! im sorry to hear you're not happy with the way you look. Seeing as your surgeon knew what you wanted, i wonder why you ended up so different! so yes i really want to hear what he has to say!

hey there I too have had Mr Sulaiman . Ok ive had bigger implants than you have had mine are 300 but they are unders too. But the implant size isnt that much bigger than yours.



Im going to defend Mr. Sulaiman a bit he did a great job with mine . What im trying to say is Mr Sulaiman would of put the biggest implant in that he could of got in with out it looking like you have had a boob job done . ( in other words Fake)



He goes for the ' natural look' which is a good thing .



Before i went into surgery there where 2 options on the table 300 the next size up of course i said to him go for the biggest one lol but he said i will do what looks nice and natural ..which is what i wanted .



Your only a month a head on your healing i was in july you where june ...you still have along to go and they will change , reading lots of topics on here you will see that they will need time to settle .



I was too 32a now im a 34d but the space he had behind my muscle must of been bigger ( but i have had 4 childern )



32c is still a big jump from 32a but it looks natural you dont want to be looking like katie price if you have a small frame it would look silly .



Most the ladies on here who have had thier implants for over 12mths have said in that 12 mths lots of changes are ahead .



Keep smiling 32c is a nice size to be .

Aww hunni that must have really knocked your confidence. As you're very early in your recovery though I would say just give it time, you will have lots of changes before you're fully healed and what you have now is not what you'll end up with. The nurse you saw did appear very sympathetic though so hopefully if it is a case of you needing a different profile, you won't have a fight on your hands.

Awwww darling so sorry to hear ur not happy the nurse sounds lovely thow i hope they look after u , i was at my birthday party last night wen having a toast for my new 32E boobs my charming lil brother said i cant even tell a difffernce!!!!!! ....... i chucked my drink at him immiture ... yes but it made me feel better! after a calm down in the toilets of the pub i just realised hes my lil bro he would of never paid attention to my chest and even thow i was an A i had an amazing bra from la senza it was all padding but did make them apper big, im still in my sports bra and hoping wen im in a normall bra my resuts will be more prominent! lol xxxxxxxxxx

yes Mr Sulaiman is lovely - I don't have any problem with him or the staff they have been really nice throughout the whole thing. Not having a personal attack against him at all. However the results are not what I wanted. As far as I am aware the bigger sizes werent even tried - this will be confirmed next week though. I even said yesterday when I was there, and crying, that I did not blame anyone or want to cause I seen, I just feel genuinely unhappy with the results and they were not really what I was after.

If Mr Sulaiman says next week that the bigger ones were tried and they looked really fake then fair play -i am totally open to this. It's just if they weren't tried it doesn't seem fair that I asked for a full 32c and am off to buy a 32b sports bra today as the c cup one I have currently is gaping and giving no support at all.

I also sent over 30 pictures displaying what I wanted to look like and the nurse who had never met me said I was clearly not going to look like that no matter how much they settle and fluff.

Really hope I haven't come across as a bitch - I genuinely like mr sulaiman -the reason I went with them, and all the staff have been lovely. But like my mum said this morning - if i bought a three piece suite for a grand and it was the wrong colour I'd sent it back, spending 4300 to get something that makes you feel gutted cant be great. So i hope to talk it through with the staff, monitor any changes and if the worst comes to the worst and three months down the line I still feel really bad, then hopefully they will help me sort it out.

Had nightmares all last night dreaming of sorting my boobs myself. Woke several times thinking I had scars on my face where my knife had slipped. The final time I woke up in so much pain I thought something had gone really wrong with my implants. Grabbing my painkillers I ran through to the bathroom. By the time I had got there the pain had gone -think I'd dreamt that too! Im boob obsessed and going mental clearly

I'm so sorry that happened to you! And I really hope the receptionist got a good talking to afterwards! That's totally unprofessional of her, she shouldn't be assuming anything, she should have just asked you who you were there to see and looked up your notes whilst you were waiting. Then she could have brought you any paperwork you needed.

Really surprised she did that, how horrible!

Please try not to lose hope though, even if you are feeling they don't look right now it's still very early days and they are being tightly held in place by your muscles. When everything settles down and loosens up I'm sure they will be just lovely.

Sounds like the nurse was very supportive, really hope you get it all sorted out and are feeling happier really soon. I dont think you have come across like a b*tch at all, just like someone who has under gone major surgery and is feeling quite upset! Chin up hun, im sure it will be ok, sending you hugs xxxxxx

but ity sounds like they r really listening to u which is a plus! sometimes they just dont wana know when ur post op.
it sounds quite positive frm what youve said. when will u find out if he tried bigger sizes or not? n if he didnt, will they increase ur size for free?
u have not come across as bitchy at all hun, so dont worry.
the fact u said u didnt wanto offend anyone but u r genuinly unhappy, that shows what good intentions u had!

i have to go back next saturday and they will have more time to see me- was only booked in for a quick check on my stitches this time. i do feel that they took me seriously and really hope this continues as time goes on. the best thing for me would be to have them fluff and drop into a c and to have mr sulaiman say that he tried the bigger sizes but they looked waaay too fake. that way i know that im the biggest i could be without looking fake. i did want a really natural look and thats why i went with mr sulaiman. its just i paid 4300 and ive only gone up from a 32a to a 32b. im wearing a 32b sports bra now and there is room in it to fluff :( i said all along i wanted to be a full 32c and although its only one cup size difference when you are talking such small sizes, a cup size is a big deal. will keep you all updated with what happens and what they say next week. have my fingers crossed for massive fluffing, just not sure this will happen to the extent i want i to. even if they offered the bigger size at a cheaper rate that would be something, its mainly the idea of another op that scares me - esppecially after my recovery went so well with this one, i dont want to tempt fate. anyway im just waffling now. thanks again xxxx

U paid how much? I paid half what u paid but i have the 10yr ones not the longer lasting ones. Still i argree for wot u paid i would want to look like dolly parton for that lol x

Yeah I paid £4300 to go from a 32a to a 32b. Gutted. If I was to have a re-op I still only want to be a full 32c, nothing really big. It's just if I turn to the side I barely have any shape at all. You prob think I sound well fussy complaining about a cup size. Does anyone know how to upload pics? I'd really like to put my before and afters up so you can tell me what you think. Feel like I've stared at them so much i can't tell what they look like anymore. Would value your honest opinions

I'm astounded that the waiting area would be in the recption were everyone was privvy to what you're having done! In this profession right from the start that would scream little care for my privacy.

The fact you were upset and open to an audience.... Grrrr I could go up there and slap them myself!
