What are you using for your scars?
I removed the steri strips today after been given the all clear from my PS to remove them after 4 weeks and I do have a some scabbing but overall they look good (mine are crease incisions). I was given some wild apricot oil balm to apply on them by my PS.
Since I was developing stretchmarks he also recommended me to use Rosehip Seed Oil and I've been using this on my breasts for about a week morning and night. The improvement is amazing. He said I could use it on my scars if I wanted to also :)

Most of the scabbing came of with the steristrips but i can feel a bit of scabbing near the edges still and the scars are a bit purplish in colour. Did you get crease incisions?

I've been using bio oil so far as suggested by the nurse at my first check up but the stuff you've been using sounds well worth a try as well. Do you know where you can buy it from? Don't think I've ever seen it xxxxx

Re: What are you using for your scars?
I know many surgeons reccomend this for healing. (I worked with them in hospital) I use it on my face good for prevention of wrinkles too (hopefully cure?). I posted in the Health and beauty section recently as Nads uses it, she posted a link to Amazon.
But, there are many different brands, it needs to be the pure 100% to be reasonably effective. I would think some health shops also stock it. xx

Re: What are you using for your scars?
I bought Rosehip Seed Oil at the local pharmacy. I've seen it available in the online Amazon shops, although I dont know how reliable it is getting it from there.
The wild apricot balm oil I am using on my scars is a swiss product called Déesse but its early days still to see how good it is. xx

Hi, here's a link for some organic rosehip seed oil that I'm getting. Not cheap but think it goes a long way!
