Had my 3 wk post check today and im a little bemused .

I had 300 unders done naterlle implants .

Everything is fine so im happy with that . Nurse checked to see if they where both level ...Yep they are . The pain i have under my breast is the end of where the sitches as so that was that question answered .

I asked about the strap my pride n joy that thing is ....not!! She said i didnt have to wear it anymore and said put in the bin ...didnt need telling twice i binned it in the nurses office there n then .

She did ask which surgeon i had i told her she said yes its fine.

I asked about the massage thing as well and its nothing like what i seen on the net ...she said just use 2 fingers and gentley stroke them while i was in the shower ...nothing about the scare tissue at all .

She hadnt got my notes cos apperently they are in manchester ? I did tell them i would be having all my check ups in liverpool the first check up i had the other nurse must of wrote on something . ??

So im alot confussed ...my surgeon said 6 weeks with the strap in hospital ...and bra 24/7 .

The massage too ...is that correct ?

I am going to phone to my paitent care coordinater on monday ...but for now ...Just wanted to know does this sound rite ...my implants wont move up again cos i dont have this strap on ? well i cant now its in the bin in liverpool .

Im not sure whats correct and what isnt now xxxx

Oh and she said i have another check up the now until a months time and that is with the sugeron .?

Patient co-ordinators know as much as you do babe, they aren't medically trained in any way, they are sales women trained to sell a product.

You have textured implants and if all is well massage isn't neceassy at all. The nurse explained some gentle massage for you to do in the show, thats all sweetness, so dont worry about that.

Also if the cinic nurse feels your breasts have dropped enough and feels you will get no benefit from wearing the strap any longer I'd feel happy with that myself and lastly seeing your surgeon in about a month sunds correct too babe, you usually have your consultation with your surgeon around the 6 week mark so all sounds fine to me and it sounds like your doing really well. xx
