my left is slightly bigger but the surgeon said it would be as it was bigger before the op, was there a difference before?? xx
also it could just be down to swelling if ur only 5 days post op both breasts will heal at different times so it could be that xx

Re: One bigger than the other
Hi Hun
My right one looks bigger than my left :-( although I think that the left has not settled as well as the right.
You are very early days hun so you have lots of changes to go though and each breast is a separate surgery so they will settle at different times.
Call your clinic and have it logged that you have this concern, however please give it more time before you even begin to worry hun xxxx

Re: One bigger than the other
It's absolutely normal hun to see differences in the two breasts this early post-op, the main one we see to hear here is asymmetry concerns.
Lots of us had one boob bigger/smaller than the other hun. You went into theatre babe and you didn't have one op, you had two! One on each breast and it's quite possible one breast had a little more trauma than the other and therefore one may heal faster than the other! They soon catch as time goes on sweetness.
Just be sure when you have your post-op appointments you bring all concerns to your surgeons attention and most importantly be sure those concerns are written in your notes. If you're unsure if they have been written, don't be afraid to ask, it's so important if you do have complications down the line that any problems you have are noted.
There's no panic though babe and no need to rush to the clinic or anything, just be sure when you see the nurse/surgeon it's brought to their attention to be monitored. xx
