New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Hi girls. I had a sneaky try on in M&S. 36D was the best fit. However, measured myself at home and it is coming out as a 36B, almost C which seems ludicrous. I wore a 36B (albeit with some unoccupied space!) pre op and my old bras nowhere near cover my now ample assets! So confusing! x

Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Your avatar pic is beautiful and you definately don't look like a B cup in your avatar picture.Bra shopping is so hard! I'd just go with the D cup and try them to make sure you get a good fit. :)

Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Thanks hon. I am only almost 4 weeks post op so being a bit impatient. WIll get measures properly once I get the go ahead from my PS. I was so tempted to buy a bra but thought I had better not - that's why I have the label on the bra still in the pic - lol! x

Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Thanks Tracy. That's what I think. I got moderate profile and they are quite wide - my old B cups don't cover anything - it's all hanging out at the sides!
Have you decided on your size?

Hi Rachy, what do you meausere around your rib cage? I just dont think you look like a 36band... and if you measure smaller then you will need to go up in cup size.

Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Hi hun, if you measure 31 you dont need to add anything to that size, you just round up to the neareast even number which would make you a 32 band (I know they will feel a lot tighter than a 36 and may feel uncomforatble) but the band and not the straps is the supporting element in a bra and your new big boobs will need all the support they can get. So if the D cup in a 36 band fitted you may need at least a 32F bra, but it's best to get fitted into a bra by a professional fitter I can recomend Bravissimo, they are excellent. If you try somewhere else and they use a measuring tape and add 3 or 4 inches you have not been given the correct info. So in my opinion you are probably a 32F or bigger.
Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
There you go Rachy... Misf just summed it up perfectly... I thought by your Avatar you looked a 32... so congrats on what sounds like F cups!

Re: New avatar and size confusion!!!!
Thanks girls. I had no idea there was any other way of working out bra size. I think the way I find must be totally oudated. I have my post-op appointment in a week or so and will endeavour to get down to a decent bra place to get measured properly soon after. I had no idea Bravissimo had actual stores - thought it was online. Will have to Google to see if any near me (Bucks). Rach x
