Re: God damn scales!!
Oh hun Day 3 post op is the worst, a lot of us get what we call the Boobie Blues, and it sounds like you may have a touch... first off its totally normal for morings to be the worse, we call it the dreaded morning boob, it will get better I promise!
AS for the weight, just stay away from the scales for now, I too bloated up after my op, I retained a lot of water and my bowels werent working right so I was backed up and I felt horrid... also you have about 2.5lbs of new boobs remember so dont stress about your weight now, just try to drink lots of water, go for short walks, and eat good for you wholesome foods and you will feel better soon.

Re: God damn scales!!
everyone gains at first. Its mainly bloating and water retntion from the GA. There is no way that will be 11lb of fat.
it takes roughly 3500 excess calories to make 1lb of fat, and im pretty sure you havent consumed 38500 calories in the last 3 days.

Hope you feel better soon
It definitely won't be 11lbs, you are going to be really bloated after the GA etc and obviously have a few extra lbs from your new boobs, but I'm sura after about a week you will pretty much be back to normal xx

Re: God damn scales!!
hi, i have just weighed myself after a week and i am the same as before my op, so i have lost a pound and ten ounces( the weight of my implants). if i had weighed after the 3-4 day i proberly would have been at least 10 pounds over weight as i had so much water retension and had not been to the toilet. Let it all settle down and stay away from the scales for a few days. Who needs them anyway, depressing things!!!
