BA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns Empty BA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns

Post by elainne 1st August 2011, 8:47 pm

Hello Ladies, this is my first post as I am a newbie. I have had three breast augs in the past the first with Jan Stanek, the second with Barry Jones and the third with Anthony Arian. My breasts have become droopy due to the final surgery resulting with the implant being an over whereas the two previous were unders. I has 500cc (i think)

But good newsBA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns 773440 I'm finally going to have these puppies lifted. I am a 34dd at present and being of caribbean descent, and having had 3 babies before my surgerys I have very large dark areola which has left me with concerns about having 500cc implants and if they cut away the dark area which is a large part of my breasts would there be enought skin to work with.....has anyone else been faced with this problem my surgery is booked for 10 September in Tunis with Dr Foued Hamza. I told him at the consultation that I wanted to be a bit bigger, but most definitely not smaller. he said "no more than 500cc" I don't know if thats because it wouldn't fit

I am 5'5 around a size12. with a 34" back, does that sound as though i will end up with nice full rounded 34dd breasts. I am also concerned with flying after the surgery although he assures me that all his patients have no problems at all. I am also petrified of the scars as i am not sure i won't keloid scar. but i do know i really want the uplift my nipples are on the way to staring at my feet. its the fit that is my concern i want to have the same size or bigger.

I hope you can help me. Thanks and hello again...... this is a fantastic site. BA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns 43418

hey, starting with th scarring, i know SO many of the girls on here are over the moon about the outcome of their scars from lift surgery so try not to worry about it...apparently the scarring is SO worth it!
i imagine 500c will easily get you to a dd. What size implant do you currently have now?? im sure the surgeon thinks that after reducing you areola he will have enough skin to fit the implant in and do the lift hun, or he would have cosidered it. ask him how he plans to do it if your reallyu curious. xxx

Hello Jen, thanks for your support.

I have a 500cc i think.....when i had my first aug i had breast fed to death, and had very little breast tissue so i am all inplant, and my breast has stretched since they they were put in and my aerola is so large there is very little that isnt areola...my concern is i will end up with small or uneven breast breast due to this. I think size really does matter as i have an athletic build and quite wide shoulders. I am having a lollipop lift as well. BA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns 683328

It's nice to meet you Elianne!Since you had 500cc's before I think they will fit in again after your lift.Unless they are doing a breast reduction, they won't be taking away much breast tissue with just a lift.I just had an achor lift and was told they only took a few grams of breast tissue in all and it didn't effect my original size.It was more to give the breast a good shape and resculpt the skin to a more youthful, higher position on the chest wall.I love my lift and I know you will be glad when you get yours!

Will you go under the muscle again since you had sagging due to overs?

In the past, have you healed well from the original incisions you had for the breast augmentations or did you keloid scar? That will be a good indication as to if you'll keloid or not with the lift incisions.

Hello Emma-Kate, thank you so much for that. I had under for my first two augs, but the pockets were even and left the left breast cleavage flat and tilted to my left shoulder, plus whenever I tensed or picked things up or anything my muscle flattened and distorted the implant which left me embarrassed and tearful for a few years, the second surgeon did the same and so my broken heart and avoiding doing things in pubic even carrying shopping bags back home in strappy top in the summer left me feeling like a freak it was ages before I could afford my third surgery and I have been happy with them even though they are saggy.......they at least looked natural and formed a soft cleavage.

My original scars are under the breast in the crease, if I lift the breast the scar is still visible even after all this time.....Its been approx eight years now, but there are not raised or lumpy.

I wonder if you would be able to get a laser treatment to make them lighter afterward? I know lasers can be bad if your skin tone is darker but in same cases they can use them. And the good thing is,your older scars did flatten out and aren't raised.Maybe it would be worth the trade off to you?

I'll be thinking of you!Keep us posted Hun!

Hi we sound similar shape as I'm same height, 12-14 with broad frame. I had 500 overs with lift from a start of empty DD/E cup and currently G cup. So would indicate DD for you if you started with smaller cup size but I guess we are all different. Hope that might help, what bra size are you currently ?

Hi bollydolly and Emma Kate. thanks I havent really thought about or looked at laser, but I 'll ask about it. although they are not raised - they are still very visible if you lift my breast. My surgeon has indicated that he will be doing the lollipop method..... I know I cant avoid the vertical incision - its just the scar and the fact that there is so much areola to get through, and it is so much darker than my surrounding skin so i am just a bit worried because when I gather it up and pretend its been cut away there is hardly any skin left. Although my boobs are sagging they are a nice size. I know I am worrying needlessly now as I am already booked and my flight and accommodation is confirmed.

I am currently a 34dd bollydolly, because of my build with wide shoulders, I don't want to be too small...and I am a bit concerned. I rushed through my consultation, and its too late now as he is not in this country at the moment..... I must sound like a baby.

Thank you both for taking the time to help me like this. xxBA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns 571992

thanks jen86, I guess you're right I just wish that I had gone to the consultation better prepared with all the questions I'm asking now. I am hoping I will be as happy as those ladies and be proud of my new puppies when they are born. xxBA and Uplift surgery size and areola concerns 48411
