Hi all just wondering (seing as i might be getting my BA finally in the next few months) if you could compare the pain afterwards to like your milk coming in? i know with having both of my boys my boobs got so swollen and big and sore i said to myself if i ever got a yes to have my BA it would be pretty much like this feeling. Am i pretty close? or is it a diffeent feeling altogether?

Im not worried about the pain tbh as i have been through labour twice so surely there's not too many pains that could be worse than that Ladies who have had a baby b4 BA 267328 lol would just be nice to know kind of what to expect!

thanks, Misty x

i would say having a baby definately gives us the advantage pain wise.

i definatly felt like i was just super engorged with milk (minus the incisions). i even get the milk let down reflex occaisionally too!

I agree,it does feel like your engorged with milk. You may even see the breast area turn reddish in color and feel warm.Mine did that.I had the doctor look into it right away and an infection was ruled out.It was simply bad swelling. But it's always good to be safe and check these things out.

Hey,

I would say it was a similar feeling to when your milk comes in... however for me I found it less painful that the breastfeeding boobs... I had so much milk I was busting, and with my first I had cracked, bleeding nipples and baby that fed every toe curling two hours!

Definitely like being engorged. Combined with itchiness and a bit of pain around scar area. Peaked on day 2 for me and was all good from then onwards. I have been amazed at what a breeze it all was. Two weeks today and I am feeling 100% now.

Id certainly say the day after my BA it felt like it did when your milk comes in and theyre soo hard to touch. However i found that breastfeeding boobs were more painful (like Sarahdawn) than my newly filled BA boobs :)

It does feel like your engorged with milk. I constantly felt like my baby missed a feeding and its all in there about to explode.

good luck
