Perhaps thats the GA leaving your system? they do say up to 48 hours for it to go.
I know theres nothing worse than puking, I had bad morning sickness for both my pregnancies and was throwing up yellow bile coz my stomach had emptied itself (sorry- TMI!)
Im sure after a good nights sleep you'll wake up puke free!
ts all for the good of the cause (ie boobies) no pain no gain and all that.
Hope u get better xx

You poor thing Hug Hope the sickness eases off soon. GA can definitely have that effect. Or you're very unlucky and have the same sickness bug that I've been laid low with for the last few days. Either way I really hope you start to feel better soon, this should be time for you to be smiling and leaping (mental leaps, not real ones please!) for joy!

Big hugs xx

I hope it's not a bug, I'm now worried abou my meds. I don't think they are staying in my system long enough to have any kind of effect.

Starting to feel really sorry for myself now. sick nope

thats a good point...your meds mmay not be in your system very long. I would call your clinic tommorrw and explain to them, and see what they say. Maybe you can take anti sickness too?? its important you have anti biotics to stop your scars getting infected. xx

Lil k,

Had mine on sun, and have felt really sleepy all day today! Stopped taking the heavy duty pain killers, and taking ibrufen now. could be the GA, but phone your clinic as one of the other girls has said, to be on the safe side xx

Post by DAVINIA123 21st July 2011, 12:05 am

Just to let you know, I am not a sick person at all. I had two kids and never got morning sickness( lucky me).
I had my op on Sunday evening and was fine goi g home the same day. I was fine until tuesday evening. I knew I wasn't feeling right. I felt little c**p and wasn't able to even look at food. I was so hungry so I forced myself to eat a banana but within 15 mins sick Puke!!!
I do believe it's a mixture between GA and meds. I cut down on my painkillers and I feel a lot better today but a little sore.
Get it time and see how you are. I'm due for my check up on Friday . Fingers crossed

Hey Davinia,

I'm sorry you're feeling sick! If it is the pain killers (narcotics can make people really sick) and not a bug, ask about some anti-nausea meds. They make pill form and suppository if you can't keep anything down...

Hope you get to feeling better!

Hi girls. I found an old thread about sickness last night and read it could be the co codamol, I've stopped taking that and switched to normal paracetamol and so far I've been ok. Haven't been sick, still felt a bit Bleugh and can't stomach much food but feel alot better than yesterday. Feel a little bit more tender aswel but no major pain. X
