Compliments

What's the best one you've had recently? I'll share mine...

Hubby and I were on holiday in the Maldives with friends a couple of weeks ago.. Hubby isn't a sun-worshiper, so he was happily snoozing in his shaded hammock while I lay on the beach on my lounger. I was aware of this guy wandering back and forth and having a bit of a paddle in the sea... eventually he plucked up the courage to come over and ask me what nationality I was. I smiled and told him I was from Scotland - he said "oh, I thought you were from Sweden" I asked why he thought that and he said "well, they're famous for their beautiful women with blonde hair and blue eyes" LOL! I almost fell of my lounger!! Bless him - he gave me a bit more chat and told me he was from Serbia and was there with his girlfriend. Being such a small island I seen him all the time in the restaurant and bar and he always smiled and said hi when his GF wasn't looking! Tart! ha ha :)

its true though, all sewdish girls are tall with blonde hair and blue eyes!!! ggggrrrr, i went there and felt insecure, they were all gorgeous!!!

my best compliment was from one of my school students, i was coaching cheerleading, and one of the girls said, miss its so unfair ur really pretty with really white teeth, gorgeous legs, skinny and BIG BOOBS!!! ha ha/ she wanted to know why i was skinny with bib boobs....er...i was like, its in my genes!! ( more like the surgeons knife!)

When I got to the hospital for my BA the nurse who booked me in was showing me everything in my room and kept getting muddled up. She then paused and said "sorry, you have a lovely face, very striking and it's putting me off!" - lol! She probably then had to go off to an appointment with her optician!

I received my first compliment 7 days post op. I was dropping my mom at the airport and I walked her in since my friend was waiting in the car. The guys who help with the curb side bag check in could not stop complimenting me on how beautiful my hair looks. My hair is very simple and I do receive compliments on it from time to time but I have never had someone compliment me from so far of a distance. It was hilarious and flattering. I know it was because of my body. I have a nice round butt so my top matches my bottom now. I love it.

I was sat in the bank yesterday waiting for my hubby. People kept walking past and staring I started to feel like a bit of an alien. Then this guy came up to me and said " excuse me but can I tell you that you look really nice" I said "aw thanks that's really sweet". I told my hubby as he is a bit short on the compliments. He said oh well I've gone up to people before and told them they look nice! What a *naughty word*! Oops sorry for swearing. I said well if you ain't gonna give me compliments then someone else will. Soon shut him up! Anyway it actually made my day and hopefully made my other half think.

LOL I'm loving these stories girls :D Rachy check you getting compliments from a nurse! (I'm assuming a female one)? I once had a girl from work ask me if I would like to join her and her boyfriend one evening at the pub for a couple of drinks, then 'back to theirs' afterwards!!! (if you know what I mean)!!! Just how does a girl answer a request like that from a female??

Ha ha Minxie - that sounds a bit awkwards. Yes it was a female nurse!!! I just said "oh, sorry" when she said I was putting her off. Then I went red!

I've had a couple of blatent compliments in the last few weeks, one being off ex boxer/sky sports presenter Glen McCrory ( I didnt know who he was either until someone told me later on, lol), who insisted on buying me a drink, looked me up and down said I was "well built" .Another guy actually just simply told me I had amazing tits (hate that word). But my nice compliment was yesterday in the gym when I had minimal makeup on, hair pulled back and was all pink and puffed out on the treadmill, when a one of the staff who normally doesn't speak, told me i was "looking good" ! Liked that one so much it was my FB status for the day

I too have started to stare at peoples boobs! i never used to :-)

I'm trying this thing where, if i look at a woman's body and think it looks good and nicely curved i think look at her boobs to see what size they might be - especially women who are my height and build :-)
