Compliments

I just had to share this with you girlies. I'm now back at the gym and before this morning's session, nobody has said a **naughty word** bird about my new boobies. Anyhow, as I was getting changed to go into the gym, one of my friend's there said she's noticed that I'd suddenly got bigger and if I'd had my boobs done - so there was no point lying about it so I said that I'd had them done in December and she said that she thought they looked fab now. One of my other friends there said she'd also noticed, but hadn't wanted to comment and the other two hadn't even noticed Well, obviously a long discussion followed, and they all thought I'd done the right thing and that they really did look nice - and one of them was asking me about uplifts as she was now thinking about hers now.
Thrilled to bits now

Aww Carol that's brilliant , I brought a shock absorber today as I felt my m and s wasn't really supporting me anymore , I can't wait to join the gym x they look so small I'm a well supported bra xx

Yes, I've been back about a week now (alternate days), but this is the first time they've noticed - or rather plucked up enough courage to comment. However Wendy is a bit like that (i.e. dares to tread where others don't LOL), but she was lovely about it, so I didn't care. If they had been bitchy, I think I would have burst into tears.

I got back to the gym recently too, but even though I've got a good sports bra on I'm still panicking about my boobs, at one stage - can you believe - I even slowed the threadmill down because all I could think was...OMG, I'm contributing to the law of gravity here!!

I've even contemplated wearing TWO bras AND a leotard/lycra type thing under my trackie for EXXXXXtra support....

Well these were older ladies hun, more my own age group, so I honestly didn't expect any really bitchy comments, maybe a bit of disapproval possibly or raised eyebrows or being shunned at the worst. What did surprise me was their approval and the congratulations. I suppose it just goes to show that we can be as concerned about our appearance as the younger generation LOL
The younger girls tend to come in either early morning before they go to work, or later on in the day after they have finished work.
I must admit I can't seem to do as much as I did before the operation, about 35mins hard work on the treadmill is about my limit at the moment - and then my boobies start to feel a little sore (before it was just my legs LOL) and I have to be careful when I go for a swim afterwards, I tend to use breaststroke and this does seem to pull a little when swimming (especially on my left side) so I can now only do around 25 to 30 lengths at the moment.
........... but it is getting better.
