How do I get ride of puffy nipples ?!?!?
How do I get rid of puffy nipples?!?!? I hate them, I thought the breast implants would help flatten them out!, this is not the case! Any suggestions solutions? I don't like how my boobs look pointy in tank tops or anything if they aren't squished down from a bra of some sort.

Hay hun,
I have the same thing left from my tubular breasts .... unfortunately I am having a reduction to flatten them out.
I am guessing yours also look fine if they are cold?
I'm not sure what else you could do unless you have tighter tops or put some kinda nipple cover on to maybe keep them down.
Maybe the other girls will have some suggestions!
How long post op are you also? if its early they could still change.

Mine are a bit puffy too. Thevisisionoflife - what does the reduction involve? Is that where they cut all around the outside of the areala to make it smaller? I've done some research and that's the only thing I've found. I was hoping they would be able to just remove some of the tissue that's causing the puffiness from a small incision. Or would that make them look empty and saggy?! Xx

Hay hun,
My understanding of it is that they will cut all the way around removing a bit then stitch it back pulling it tighter and flatter. I should have asked more really I don't want them to be smaller width wise just flatter!
I wish there was another way as not looking forward to having more scars! Still waiting for the others to fade... they are getting better slowly.
Yours are looking really good Rachy! and yours also CutieMcC.

Aw, thank you! I don't think mine bother me enough to have that done. I'll just have to invest in some nipple covers! I've heard scars round the areola are supposed to heal very well though. When are you having it done? Do they do it under local anaesthetic?

How do you get ride of puffy nipples? Well I'm sure if you ask someone nicely... *eyebrow dance*
Lol in all honesty I have no idea, I have the same issue =[ it's so annoying!! I'm considering an areola reduction too (probably separately to the BA, I know it'll cost more but I think I'd like to see how they look after the BA anyway, see if maybe I hate my boobs a bit less if they're the right shape and size without having to attack my areolas too!) but I'm sure I heard something about loss of nipple sensation and ability to breastfeed...?

Re: How do I get ride of puffy nipples ?!?!?
the only way is to have the surgery i looked into it as i have puffy arola from minor tubular breast but ive kind of decided i dont want the scars and im just having a implant, for those that had it before there implants.. did they go more puffy ? or did they look abit better?
ive heard you can get the loss of sensation but when i spoke about it to a surgeon he said you can still breast feed. x

My boobs were like that before my augmentTion, I was hoping it would help flattening them out by filling them, but no sorie ! They actually got a tiny bit bigger, I have a small areola so I don't need a smaller one, it's just extra fat or something in there, like for guys they say it's fat intertwined in gland and only way you can get ride of it is try and cut to like 6 percent body fat... Not gunna happen, especially since in recovery from eating disorder! Or do that surgery they go in and remove some fat I think. From what I read usually when your younger you get it like puberty but some women dobt change after because they say most women change and flatten out, is this still possible after 25? Or my only alteratives surgery or taping my nipples! I would like to be able to wear a wife beater or something every once in a while with out having pointy boobs! Cuz I think that would be so hot to go braless but I can't do it unless the shirt is super tight! And yes my nipples are hard it goes away, I don't understand how I would rather perky nipples ALL the time then that!

Any idea of the cost of surgery to make your nipples less puffy?

My BA has done wonders for my puffy nipples, i think they're stretched out now. When soft theyre a bit flat/puffy but not like they were.

Sorry delay in reply!
Yes its done under local. My nipples have stayed pretty much the same before and after surgery the bigger breasts balance them out more but they are still puffy and pointy from the side ... makes the breasts a horrible shape from side on, In my own opinion.
Well I was told normally for my surgeon her fee alone would be £1000 for the nipple surgery .... plus what ever the hospital would charge!
So, if you do have puffy nipples before surgery address this when going in, to see if they will reduce them also.
I wouldn't worry if they wasn't too bad but I have kinda cone shaped breasts from the side, They just don't look right!

I've done a bit of research to see if there are other ways to do it - men who have this problem can have the excess tissue removed through a tiny incision at the bottom of the areola, but I don't think they do it for women, as it involves lifting the nipple away from the breast.
Thevisionoflife - are you going to take before and after photos? I would be really interested to see, and I've only found photos of size reduction and male puffy areola correction. If you get a good result, I might be tempted to look into it. Xx
