push up bras?
I am only 6 weeks post op so just starting to look at normal bras and can't wait to see the back of this sports bra!! Just a bit confused as to how a push up bra or anything like that is going to work as my boobs are fairly soft now but there is no pushing them anywhere, they are pretty solid where they are so how does a bra like that work??

Re: push up bras?
you may still have to wait for them to soften completly before a push up bra can push them together too, but theres no harm in trying one hun x

Have you been given the okay to wear normal bras hun? You don't want to spoil your new boobs. xx

Re: push up bras?
If you've been given the go ahead you can wear any bra you like, however if they aren't soft enough to push together yet then I wouldn't bother with a push up bra as by the time they soften you might not fit into it.
Re: push up bras?
Yes PS said i could wear normal bras again, but maybe sports bra at night still. How soft do they go? mine are soft if I press them on top but if i try and push them up they don't move far, do they get much softer and moveable in time? if so how long!

Re: push up bras?
They do go quite soft, almost like the real thing. It depends from person to person, some people take weeks, others take 6 months or longer. It's a long journey having your BA but it's worth the wait.
Re: push up bras?
Ive brought some plunge bras today, and wow i love them, my boobs are soft now, well still a bit firm at the bottom, but i can push them 2gether etc... it was well worth the wait xx

Re: push up bras?
You'd be looking for a 'push-up' bra kezza to create uplift and cleavage.
If you have little movement blp then you might find you wont get the look the push-up bras offer for a while hun which does take a little more time to achieve, I was 6 months post-op when I could achieve a proper bum cleavage from the use of a bra, others have taken just a couple of months though, we're all different though and will all heal in our own good time.
I found just the wearing of pretty bras was enough for me, it gave me back the feeling of my femininity and I felt sexy again after being stuck in sprtsbras for so long which are the mmost unsexy things ever to be designed! They made me feel so much better about myself.
A little tip when buying your first bras sweetness - don't go mad! Just buy a few at first, I bought 3. I bought a black, a white and a nude multiway so I had a bra to wear with everything in my wardrobe. There's also the possiblity of your breast size changing after 6 weeks hun, I fluffed at 10 weeks post-op, this was my only 'fluffing' but there are ladies here who have fluffed 2 even 3 times more after their surgery and have wasted hundreds of pounds on lots of bras that no longer fit. xx
