When did u sleep on your stomach
I'm 12 days post op and I'm used to sleeping on my stomach. Can't sleep on my bk anymore it's killing my back and neck.
Yet I'm scared to sleep on tummy or side as won't they squish my implants?

Can u give yourself extra support for ur neck n back? if th cushions u r using to help make u sleep elavated r really soft n ur bodu sinks into them, they may not b supporting ur spine enough so may had one behind the middle of ur back and a very small cushion behind ur neck so when u sleep ur chinvisnt on ur chest. hope that helps x

Re: When did u sleep on your stomach
Your implants are tougher than you think babe! If you feel OK you could always try sleeping on your side and seeing how it goes, the general rule of thumb is to listen to your own body and if it hurts then it's unfortunately back on your back for a while as your breasts still need a little more recovery time till you attempt it again in a few days time, remember though, that you need only have your head and shoulders raised, you don't need to sit upright at all. I'd leave sleeping on your tummy for a couple of months though but when you feel ready after that, if you're able, you should be just fine. xx
Re: When did u sleep on your stomach
Hi, I'm a tummy sleeper too and after a few weeks I was really uncomfortable sleeping on my back. After about 5 weeks I gradually started to ease myself into sleeping on my side. Took another two weeks before I could sleep on my tummy - it just didn't feel comfortable until then. You might be able to sooner though, just see how it feels! Xx

Thanks. Yeah I got support pillows but still uncomfy. Oh well no pain no gain. Good thing is pain and shooting pain has dramatically reduced and my lil boobies...well bug boobies are evening up and soft...only have their morning glory lol! And I bought a bra from matalan which I had an a cup bra and it looks hilarious next to eachother!!! Another four weeks!
I'm trying to stand tall and shoulders back but my back kills and mum said I'm slouching. Gawd!

Re: When did u sleep on your stomach
I am a tummy sleeper too, or rather was, but I think I am going to have to get used to the whole side sleeping thing. I remember going to a Physio a while back because I had a bad back/neck and she said that it was pretty bad for you to sleep on your stomach and that I should start learning how to sleep on my side because it's so much better for you... So I suppose these new boobs might help our backs in the long run if we can't sleep on our tummies anymore. Xxxx

Re: When did u sleep on your stomach
I love sleeping on my tummy but I found it really uncomfy for a good 3 or 4 months. In the end though I found myslef waking up on my front so my body must have been fine with it. x

I am still getting used to this 4 + months later. I agree with Cookie, listen to your body.
A sleep bra (or a soft crop top/sports bra) helps to keep them together at night time.
