Implant size using the rice test Empty Implant size using the rice test

Hi everyone,

My ps said to me to do the rice test to decide what sized implants I want so I can give him a range to work with on the day. I bought a 34D sports bra today and liked 300g rice bags. They filled the bra pretty well. I think I'll be a 32 band afterwards but thought it was best to get a bigger band for the swelling.

My stats are;
height 5"5'
weight 9.5 stone

Do you think this will give me the results I want? I'm having round unders and would like to be a D cup. He has said that on the day he will take into consideration the size I want but if I choosen too big or small he will use the sizer to get the right size. Thanks! xxx Give You

Tht sounds about right to me, are you an A to begin with?
Im wanting 34D-DD and im looking at 340-380cc. Ive made the rice boobies and just totally cant decide!! I think im just gonna have to see the surgeon on the day and ask him what he thinks. I read alot of posts on here of girls saying they wish they had gone bigger, but ive thought that if I end up dissapointed with the size id rather that its coz they are smaller than expected than bigger, coz I can always still push them up if I want them to look bigger for certain tops.
Your surgeon sounds nice tho. Good luck for the big day xx

I found doing the rice test was not a good indication of how they turn out. I found when I did 380g of rice they looked massive. I went with 410cc/g and my boobs are not as big now as the rice test made me look.

I thought I was a 34b and then I measured myself and I came up at a 34a! : ( I did know my bras were too big as they were tapping but it was still depressing!

Missf1 I did ask him about that because I'm having unders and I'd read on here that it pushed them down but he seemed to think it was a good indicator. I think it's just to give him an idea and he will put in what fits best on the day. I've emailed his secretary the size I want as I want a fair idea before the day what I'm getting. Im the same as you Immie, I'd rather they were slightly on the small side than too big.

I felt like a little girl playing dress up with my huge bra and bags of rice!! Can't wait till I actually have boobs!! Ha ha!!

The rice test is making rce bags, with rice and tights to get a rough idea of size. If you put rice test in the search box you should find loads of links to it I'm not very good at explaining things. Xx

I know 3 people who have been to spire and they are really happy so hopefully we both have good experiences too!

That's interesting jimmy and missf1, I thought the 300cc looked really good but maybe they'd turn out a lot smaller? My op isn't until sept so I think I'll go for another consultation before to double check size! Its so hard choosing as it's not an exact science! Thanks for all your comments xx
