Hi girlies, i wnet for my BA with Mr Singh yesterday at 11:00am... im feeling ok today.. a little sore but nothing i cant handle (worth the pain all day long) i have a couple of Q's tho that i should have asked before leaving the hospital but i was still kind of drugged up and forgot to ask 1 day post op...... help please xxx 375568

ATM i have the bandage on the crease of my boob where the stiches are..... i also have the sticky tape stuff on all over my boobs. and i have my support bra on.. after looking at some pics that are 1 day post op old noticed that she only had the bandage on and no sticky tape.... can i take tape off?? also when can i shower??? or do i justhave to avoidd gettin my boobies wet??

i cant wait to gt them out completely in a few weeks time when they have settled down into position etc.

No! Dont touch the tapes at all babe, you do not want to disturb your wounds healing at all hunni, so don't touch your dressings.

Each surgeon works differently sweetie, which is why you've seen other pics that have differed to your recovery dressings, so dont worry about that just follow YOUR surgeons advice.

With those dressings you won't be able to shower till you have your next post-op check hun, when you get the all clear from the clinic nurse only then can you get the wound wet.

i had to wait a week before showering and even then it had to be an in n out job!! lol congrats on ur new boobs! Hug

Congrats on your new boobs hun, exactly what cookie said! It's a pain not being able to shower, I remember it well. Shallow baths and a flannel were my best friends. Washing hair was sticking my head over the bath and chucking jugs of water over my head!

Congratulations on your new additions!! I would imagine they will remove your bandage and tape and your first post op check up, that's when mine came off and it was so nice to be able to go home and shower, although you still have to be careful not to get any shower cream/moisturiser in the scars x

Dont get those dressings wet.... shallow bath and wash your hair over the bath, its really important, i got my dressings wet the second day, and ended up with a nasty infection, and had to wear them for 3 weeks altogether, it was horrid... it will be worth the wait in the end.
