Back home with my newborn twins
I'm finally home!
I arrived 50 minutes early at the Hospital yesterday, was shown in to my room for 12pm. FINALLY went in for surgery at 4:15pm, this wait felt like forever! lol
The anaesthetist gave me the GA, then I just remember feeling drowsy, the next thing I remember is waking up back in my room just after 6pm, I woke up to the sound of the surgeon (the lovely Mr Marcellino) talking to my bf, though he was leaving just as I came around.
OMG I was in agony. I felt like I couldn't move a muscle. I was out of my face from the GA and the fact that I hadn't eaten or had a drop to drink for 14 hours. The first thing I did was ask for water & morphine & of course a cup of tea, then I went back to sleep for an hour or two. I kept drifting in and out of sleep, I felt like I needed the toilet, made the effort to get all the way into the bathroom from my bed, with my bf holding the bottles attached to my drains, only to realise I could not do a wee to save my life!
After another little sleep I woke up, had more pain killers and felt much better.
I had about 5 hours sleep lastnight, I woke up at 5:30 and felt great in comparison to yesterday.
My boobs are huge, obviously a bit swollen and high up at the minute. I have dressing under, above and inbetween them so have a bit of madonna boob lol
I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out! I took before pics, I'm about to do a few after pics now as I want to record the progress of my new babies, also I'm itching to do a picture trail account and get some opinions!
My bf is **naughty word** me off as he's switched to being moody now and doesn't seem to want to hold a conversation
I'm a bit achy now, I feel as if I've had a heavy night of smoking and as if someone has jumped on my chest, also the GA has made my stomach hard as a rock and painful, other than that I'm fine - bit drowsy. As expected!
Thanks for all of the good luck wishes, they meant alot
Also, I just have to say, the food at the hospital was fab, pretty good on-call service too, tea, coffee and water whenever I asked for it

Re: Back home with my newborn twins
Thank you all :)
He was fine yesterday, helping me as much as he could, though he's like a big spoilt kid. He got a headache lastnight and it's been all about him since. Damn men lol
I'm achy now, should be sleeping while I don't have the kids but I can't!
Just uploading my pics to picture trail Xxx

Congratulations!! It sounds like it all went very smoothly. I was really achy for the first few days too - it takes a well for your muscles to adjust I think! I get achy now if I do to much.
Rest up & make the most of the relaxation time! X

Re: Back home with my newborn twins
Thank you girls, yeh, that is exactly what my mom said! She thinks his headache is him trying to get the attention and an excuse to not have to run around after me :(
Can't wait for my kids to get home as I won't lift a bloody finger, see how he likes it then :heehee: Xxx
