Important events in my recovery
Hello, thought I'd write down the milestones in my recovery to help pre op/early post op girls know roughly when to expect things. I had 225cc partial unders.
Felt 'normal' again (made my own food, wore make up, dressed myself): Day 4
Showered: Day 5
Stopped sleeping propped up: Day 7
Dressings removed: Day 9
Back to work: Week 3
Slept on side: Week 5
Felt fully recovered and back to all normal activities: Week 5-6
Wore underwired bras: Week 7
Slept on front (yay!): Week 7
Hope this is helpful! Xx

Very useful! I think when I first looked into getting a ba I assumed I'd be bed bound for weeks!! After reading everyone's stories I realise this is totally wrong. Love this website!! Xx

Re: Important events in my recovery
Good idea Rachy7, I've done the same at 5 weeks (265cc unders):
Felt 'normal' again (made my own food, wore make up, dressed myself): Day 3
Showered: Day 14
Stopped sleeping propped up: Day 14
Dressings removed: Day 14
Back to work: Week 2
Slept on side: Week 2
Felt fully recovered and back to all normal activities: Week 5
Wore underwired bras: not yet, still got strap
Slept on front (yay!): Not yet

Re: Important events in my recovery
Yeah i can only sleep on my front comfortably!! Might have to design a mattress that is like a massage table but rather than a hole for the head will have 2 holes for the boobies! xxx
