I told my coworkers and boss about my surgery
Well I decided to tell my coworkers about my surgery. I wasn't planning on telling anyone because I am taking off from the day of my surgery and not going back to work until September 1st because my children are out of school for the summer. It's slow in my field during this time of year so I figured getting the surgery done at the beginning of my vacation would give me time to get use to my new additions and for them to begin to look more natural. My boss wanted to know if I could work another week before taking off and I told him no. He asked why so I told him I was having surgery. Then he started probing to see if I was okay so I told him it was elective. He had the strangest look on his face. Before I knew it I told him I was having a boob job and I said it just like that. He was so shocked. A few coworkers over heard and started asking why and gave their opinions. I stood my ground and could not believe that one coworker actually plans on getting it done next March. Everyone seemed to understand and wished me well. So now I don't have to worry about who will notice and what they will say if they do. Everyone will eventually find out since the rumor will spread and that's that. I feel relieved now.-Tia

SOmetimes its just easier to admit it and be proud, this can stop the office gossip and people will be more likely to just ask you questions and complement.
Glad everyone was supportive as this is one less thing to worry about.
Good luck

Well done on saying it and its nice to know you have their support. Good luck when it comes, what date is it ?
Ive been keeping mine low key from work colleagues and some friends until they are well and truly in ! Although I told a close friend on Friday night and she admitted she wants one as her confidence is very low. That totally surprised me as I have never heard her talk about body issues before. So she's quite excited now which has helped me be too. I will still hold off on work colleagues for now tho. Good luck when it comes

I just realized I may have posted this in the wrong section since I am not having an uplift (I'm still getting use to the forum). My surgery is June 30th so its right around the corner. I can't wait.
