Hi girlies, what strap are you talking about? Is there a special bra one must wear after the op? not a standard sports bra?

Re: Sick of this bloody strap!!!!!!!
Well, ladies, I think I beat the record... I had my BA on 26th April and I have to wear my BEEEEEEP band until JULY!!!! 3 MONTHS!!! I have 2 - one to wash, one to wear, and am only free of the darn thing for a shower!! Its to hold the implants in the pockets correctly - help them to drop..and because my righty isnt 'right', the surgeon has asked that I keep it on til my next surgery, July. Its kinda become part of me, think I will feel lost without it, haha!! x

Re: Sick of this bloody strap!!!!!!!
I have to wear my compression bra for six weeks but for the first week I had the bandage strip on.
Only three more weeks to go and then I can wear bras with no underwire in ..... after three months I can pretty much wear what I want! yay

Re: Sick of this bloody strap!!!!!!!
Starting to get a bit worried now as I don't have a strap just a very tight bandage stuck to my skin but mine haven't moved at all! I dont see my PS until this monday but supposed to get measured before I go. I'm also finding this daunting as I will still have the dressings on (talk about shouting it out to the sales assistants!!). Flippin' heck there's so much you're not told before hand! xx

Re: Sick of this bloody strap!!!!!!!
Dont panic hun, some surgeons dont use the strap thing at all, just personal preference I guess x

Does anyone take theres off for a while?? Im have been out a couple of times without it, and now I feel really bad, like I might have ruined my implants. xx
