Hey Stokesy,

Congrats hon! I'm going in in 2 days - did you find you needed painkillers - like was the pressure that bad? Also did you use ice packs? or just moisturizer?

Josey,

Hope you feel better soon! Did you use painkillers - was pain very bad or just uncomfortable?

Sorry if this seems nosy, don't have to answer - I'm just having a bit of anxiety for my own 400cc unders surgery on Friday!!

Hey Ali! You excited? I was takin the codeine regulary yesterday but I've only taken one this morning, I've just taken normal paracetamol instead. The codeine and antibiotics make me feel sick! I haven't taken any pain killers since about 10am and I'm not in any pain, my left boob is a bit uncomfortable under my armpit but I don't need to take anything! I put ice packs on them yesterday but they were so numb I was worried I might do some damage! My mum said just to let the swelling work it's way out, they are noticeably softer today! Xxx

Stokesy, thanks! That's good advice! I never thought of doing damage if they were numb, but I can see myself doing smthg like that!! lol

they've prescribed percocet for me (i think it's oxycodone generic?) so similar if not a bit stronger than codeine?

When I came back from theatre, my pain was about 5/10. It's not pain so much it's more a strange uncomfortableness that you're not used to! I was given morphine then so was well away! I can't say I've ever had any actual pain, there's no stabbing or stinging or anything like that. Yesterday the tightness wasn't a pleasant sensation but it's all been very barable! I'm a proper baby with pain too! I really wouldn't worry about being in pain! I haven't written my BA story but I will do now :-) xxxx

Yes feeling nauseous also, i sleep like a baby though even when i'm bolt upright! lol

I know I must be so tired when I go to bed that I'm sleeping bolt upright with about 10 pillows! Ive stopped taking the codeine now so not feeling as nauseaous today, only a bit after each antibiotic, but I finish those tomorrow night thankfully!! Im in such a happy mood :-) I had 325cc overs. I hope they don't shrink too much over the next few weeks as the swelling goes! How are you feeling? You happy with the size? xxxx

Hi Ali,

I only took paracetamol for my discomfort, and thats all it really is, the 1st couple of days are rough but with meds you'll be fine, i'm feeling better today than yesterday so roll on tomorrow!! August Buddies! - Page 30 184153

Yes well pleased with how they are looking, i got unders so theres a bit more discomfort with them,from what i've read when mine drop they will fluff and become more fuller August Buddies! - Page 30 773440

I'm just so glad it's over and i'm on the road to recovery, it's killing me not being able to do stuff! Oh and what about the jab they give you in the bum when ur in theater!! i think that hurt me more than the flipping implants!! still sore when i try walking up the stairs lol August Buddies! - Page 30 683465

Omg I dont know if i got a jab in my bum?!?! Hahah if i did then theres obviously too much fat for me to feel it!! Im tempted try and look for evidence of one in the mirror now! What was it for?! I live in a flat so havent walked down/up stairs since i got back on monday night! xxx

I was told to start massaging 2 weeks post! Im now 3 weeks post tomorrow, and i think i have touched them twice. I hope this doesnt effect my healing but i dont know what else to do, they feel horrible! I have the scar fear lol!!

Stokesy how you feeling hun?? lots of swelling?? for me day 3 and 4 were the worst, for swelling i felt like my bra was going to burst and thought that pain wouldnt go away, especially at night but it does! As for when the swelling goes down, they will get bigger, at least mine did! Are you going to post photos?? x

Heya Laura! Im feeling alright actually! The swelling was the worst on Day2, I thought my boobs were going to burst and they were so hot! I woke up yesterday morning and they had gone down noticably and again today! I have uploaded my post-op pics. Ill pm you my password!! How are you feeling? Good luck Ali for tomorrow and anyone else still waiting!

Am now nearly two weeks on and feeling great! The only thing now, is a weird bubbling feeling when i walk too "bouncy" lol. I am guessing it's air where the implants are settling down. Feels a bit weird but not painful.

Also had sharp stabbing feelings behind the nipple on one breast yesterday but that only lasted a day.

tammo - you make me feel so much better! I'm petrified of the pain - having 375 or 400 unders myself - but I feel better knowing it may not be the worst pain I ever feel!

Ahhh it's really not that bad! I don't remember any real agony, even coming round from the op. I asked for pain relief and they stuck some tramadol into my drip so to be honest I was out of it for the next hour or so!

I remember waking every hour that night but I think thats more to do with the GA rather than the pain. I know a few people in RL who've had BA's and they've all said the same!

Things are so much different with mine now, gave the scars a good massage tonight so need to keep doing that! Everyday something different will happen, its crazy! One of mine is bigger than the other right now i think one still has to fluff but they have gotten bigger as well! One more week and i can get some nice bras on hopefully!

Yeah my left boob is bigger than my right, but it always has been slightly. It hurts more too! Having a case of the booby blues this evening! Although its mainly caused by my dad not my boobs!! Just fed up of being indoors and not able to drive or anything! Agh!! Xxx

few days and you will be good love, a week post op i went out for dinner and drinks with friends! 9 days post i went out and got completely mortal, shots and dancing lol! but still wasnt ready to go back to work until 2 weeks post (actually met my boss out on the night with the shots as well) haha... you will be wanting to go show your friends, c who notices etc and get used to the staring and unwanted attention...its very unusual ha x

Haha I've recovered from the sadness now! I'm laying with a hot water bottle on my back cos it aches so much from sleeping upright and slouching all the time! I'm going for a walk tomorrow with my sister round the town, then meeting the vicar on sunday to discuss our wedding plans, I'm hoping the boobies won't be so hard and noticeable then!!

LOL how funny at seeing your boss out!! That's something that would happen to me!! I'm glad you was feeling much better by then though, gives me hope!! Xxx
